OnS Theories - Demon Mikaela. The Opposite of Demons

OnS Theories (13S). Seventh Theory - Sun God Aten and The Sword of Michael
Hello everyone, I believe many are still hyped/sad or any other relatable emotion towards the chapter itself. Therefore, before I proceed to explain this bomb of a theory, in the hispanic fandom I’ve seen some saying that Mika will be Lucifer.
But, for that, let’s talk about a key element that it’s actually the opposite, therefore, let’s begin!
The latest chapter gave a huge revelation about Mikaela Hyakuya; it gave away what exactly happened in the process of his transformation; within this, the image that have caused a huge impact is the final panel
Mika grows 6 pairs of wings, and many along some friends relate it to the devil, but, why do I believe it’s rather the opposite?
First of all, let’s make a memory of previous chapters, if many might recall, in chapter 77 Rigr stated the next things:
Furthermore, in chapter 85, one of the Hyakuya Sect soldiers stated this:
Therefore, who is exactly Sun God Aten?
Easy, that’s Yuichiro Hyakuya, but why?
In Ancient Egypt the Sun God Aten or more commonly known as Ra, was the God that Represented the Sun; for Christianity, said name actually is taken after the Archangel Michael; whose name literally means “Who is like God?”.
But, how can that be possible if Yu’s codename is the “demon”?
That’s simple, the codename itself is heavily based on what Yu’s able or capable to do with those who he ends up meeting, which is heavily displayed in the latest chapter with how Mika ends up turning into a new demon.
In the LNs, Rigr stated that Yu was a gentle sweet boy; which implies that actually, there’s nothing wrong with him, there’s no evil deed within him but the fact that the fondness people develop with him, specially with those that ended up becoming demons is one of the key events on which why Rigr ended up giving him said codename.
Now, why or how would Yu be Michael?
If many might recall, in chapter 78 the Yu that was created by Sika Madu, had 6 pairs of wings instead of 4 like other seraphs:
Despite this Yu being created and cloned endlessly by Sika Madu, the Yu that exists in the present time actually managed to develop a soul; what do I mean?
In chapter 73, Sika Madu called Yu a “supposed empty vessel” which means, Yu didn’t have a grade of consciousness but instead it was a vessel that only behaved like a human would. Also, compared to the Yu from the past and the current Yu, this one was kept by Rigr Stafford who heavily opposes to Sika Madu.
But now, there’s an odd in here, what could it be?
Yes, the sword of Michael.
Who is the sword of Michael? Indeed, that is Ashera Tepes. But why? If many might remember, Ashera was able to drink Yu’s blood and turn into a vampire, which caused big or huge surprise to Sika Madu.
Furthermore, ironically, Ashera Tepes, better known as the demon Asuramaru, is the cursed gear of Yuichiro Hyakuya, secretely better known as Sun God Aten.
But now we know the meaning behind those names, why didn’t Rigr want Mika and Yu to be there near the First Progenitor and Urd?
First of all, if the First Progenitor wasn’t caputred or sealed, he’d have killed Mikaela and Yuichiro, but how can I state this?
That’s simple, it’s because Mikaela and Yuichiro are the keys to actually defeat the First Progenitor, but how when Mika grew 6 pairs of wings and is a demon? Is it because he’s actually Lucifer?
No. The answer to this is not, and this is actually because there’s a heavy reason behind it.
When the catastrophe was about to happen, Rigr left Yu in care of Mika; furthermore, Rigr wanted Yu to be always with Mika, but overall, what does this mean?
That Mika and Yuichiro complement each other to actually give life to the Archangel Michael. How can I state this?
If many recall, Yuichiro only has the Seraph trait, Mikaela has the Michaela trait and Seraph trait. But what could be gained if Mika is currently a demon?
For this, I’ll answer with a question:
“What would happen if Mikaela and Ashera fused or instead, Mikaela and Yuichiro fused as one?”
Correct, they’ll give life to the real Archangel Michael, furthermore, as it can be seen, Mikaela was a gentle and sweet boy as well, he didn’t held ill will towards others but of course, he changed due to the events he went through after he became a vampire.
But then, who is Michaela? Who is the angel that fell down to Earth craving God’s blood?
Exactly, that is Sika Madu no less. It is well known that Sika Madu has been playing the role of God on Earth. Which is one of the biggest taboo anyone could do; furthermore, the name Sika Madu took down as Michaela is in fact a surname for what he really is. But, how can I state that if the story has other names or referenes?
There’s a contradiction here, many might believe, myself included that the story takes part of bible texts or other religions but, in fact, the author itself brings down the name of the archangel Michael by calling him Sun God Aten which is a code made by Rigr Stafford.
Therefore, the real Lucifer is in fact Sika Madu, but why?
That’s actually simple, if many might recall, Lucifer was once the most beautiful creation God could ever have created. To give strength to this, Sika Madu has been described as androgynous and beautiful.
What do you think guys?
Let me know!
OnS Theories (18S). Second Theory - Reason to Mikaela’s limited strength
Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well, make sure to stay hydrated and healthy!
The theory of today will be focused on something the fandom has noticed around and it is the fact that very asides that Mika became a powerful vampire, he wasn’t able to face down completely 3 black demons, therefore, let’s proceed!
P.S: Theories are held within a neutral view and ships are excluded
With the release of the latest chapter, most of the fandom weren’t expecting an interesting battle between Mikaela and Asuramaru along the tag or teamwork of Kiseki-O and Gekkouin; furthermore, there was expectance to see Mika as the most powerful being, but then, why did he lose since he’s labeled as the “King”?
Before proceeding to explain, let’s talk about some aspects of what made Mika the most powerful demon on Earth:
First of all, compared to other demons, Mikaela’s biggest source of desire wasn’t power nor greed, but rather “love”; his source of this desire came to the whole Hyakuya Orphanage, he treasured them and loved them, he saw them as his unique family
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 93
But of course, before he became a demon, he was aware he was in a perfect dream world, in a world on which Yu never threw his humanity, in a world on which demons, vampires, experiments nor cursed gears existed; only peace and his treasured ones, and of course, this lead eventually to his transformation and manifestation as a demon in the real world. This lead to the eventual birth of the most powerful demon to be ever created and that is due to the fact of his main source of desires that made him become one on the first place. We even saw many of his abilities in chapter 98.
P.S: If you wish to, you can read this theory focused on his abilities, of course there will be a part 2!
OnS Theories (16S). Third Theory - Demon Mikaela’s powers and abilities
But there was something to notice with the demon Mikaela, what could it be?
Correct. The color of his eyes were blue:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 95
At first thought, my mind suggested that it could be by the fact that he hasn’t fed on human desires, but now, this thought or idea that originally came might be divided in two options:
Desires
Just like when he was a newborn vampire, his eyes didn’t dye in red but instead, they were blue giving a sign that he was still half human, half vampire until he later consumed human blood.
Soul
One of the characteristics that sets aside other demons from Mikaela is the fact that him being a demon, doesn’t imply he’s merciless, but rather, he harbors and cherishes what his soul longed even if he no longer recalls who he was or what he was and that’s highly visible in chapter 100.
It could be possible that, when a demon retains it’s soul or rather, the soul is not sealed or caught under the control of the First Progenitor like Ashera, Noya, Gekkouin, Byakkomaru, Raimeki and Kiseki-O, the demon might actually harbor elements of what it was once.
This will be further explained in another theory...
Retaking the theory, now the question is, why is the demon Mikaela not strong enough to defeat 3 black demons?
The answer to this is actually quite easy. What do I mean?
Correct. The demon Mikaela hasn’t fed on human desires. But how does this play in the role of strenght?
If you dear readers recall, all demons feed on human desires; but, have you wondered why?
This is due to the fact, humans harbor willpower, desires, greed, need, love, freedom, and most of all, a reason to live and exist.
Such strong emotions lead to a powerful cataclyst that boosts demons alone in order to prevail and exist along giving them power to fight. And this is heavily pointed back in chapter 98:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 98
Gekkouin in said panel asked Yoichi for power to enhance his power since they were aware they’d face a powerful newborn demon, but the question prevails, why did Mikaela lose against those 3?
As painful as it might sound, Mikaela is indeed a newborn demon; he might have knowledge on how to use his abilities for combat but, there’s an issue and that is the fact that he relies on his power alone, he doesn’t focus on tactics which is heavily reflected back in old chapters when he was a vampire:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 77
Back in chapter 77 Guren pointed that he was “alone” since he didn’t carry out a plan nor had teammates to help him out, he was literally going in a solo mission, and of course, this is highlighted by @distinguished-slacker , the 3 black demons worked up as a team in order to defeat him and carry out their mission, of course, the outcome hasn’t been displayed, it was left in a cliffhanger but nevertheless, the demon Mikaela doesn’t have combat experience against 3 black demons, it could be said he was careless in terms of checking the abilities of the other demons, hence why despite the abrupt raw power he has, he still lost in terms of tactics and teamwork.
Of course, the fact this was his first battle, doesn’t mean his path will follow doom but rather, something unexpected will happen for sure, but that’ll be mentioned in another theory.
What do you think dear readers?
Let me know what you think!
OnS Theories (17S). Eighth Theory - Narumi vs Basteya Irclu
Hello everyone, today’s Valentine’s day (perhaps for some is not, it really depends on the days and countries...) and so I hope you have a great day!
This theory will be rather short and it’s more of a headcanon along some things that should be taken in consideration that gives it quite the force to be a theory, therefore, let’s begin!
P.S: Theories remain within a neutral view and ships are excluded

As many might recall, the last time we saw Mr. Ghost...ah my bad Narumi Makoto was when he went to follow Yoichi and Kimizuki back in chapter 77:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 77
After those events, it was seen that Yoichi managed to catch up to Kimizuki but after that, there was no more notice of Narumi Makoto; therefore, what could have happened to Narumi?
One of the most possible answers to this is that within the process to catch Kimizuki, there was something happening within the building making them split and thus allowed Yoichi and Kimizuki to escape while leaving Narumi behind for not being able to catch up with them; but then why do I state a vs?
For this, let’s recall that Rigr Stafford, in order to face the First Progenitor, he borrowed the life energy of vampires that followed along humans that were in the Hyakuya Sect:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 81
After Basteya and the other Progenitor placed a spell on them along other Hyakuya troops, Rigr pierced them with special chains that would absorb their life force leaving them unconscious:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 81
Of course, this spell didn’t last for long thanks to Ferid Bathory; what do I mean?
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 84
After Guren awoke as a demon, Ferid only waited for him to finally prepare the plan they’ve been preparing for a long time which was to held down Rigr in case he planned to dismantle the plan of trapping the First Progenitor.
Within that, it could be seen that the spell Rigr used was still on hold due to all the chains.
After Guren managed to catch up with the First, Rigr aimed to drink Guren’s blood but Ferid was working with Guren only awaiting for the signal to catch up with Rigr, stabbing him with a Sinful Key in the process
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 84
These events eventually made Rigr lose energy and thus, lose and shatter the spell he used with the Hyakuya sect members
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 91
In the background, it was visible that those who participated in the spell were left unconscious while those who didn’t retreated from said place, though, this only left Rigr Stafford at the hands of Ferid Bathory.
But then, what does this have to do with Narumi and Basteya?
Knowing very well that vampires whose energy is taken, they require blood in order to restore their strength; therefore, it is possible that within Narumi’s run, he might have ended up reaching the place Yoichi and Kimizuki were once and eventually met Basteya Irclu and the other Progenitor in there, possibly making it impossible for him to leave the quarters and thus enganging against them in a battle.
It might seem as a small possible scenario, it’s not impossible due to how the squad ended up splitting apart after Shinoa got possessed by the First; thus leaving the possibility of Narumi needing to stay within the JIDA quarters.
What do you think dear readers? What might have happened to Narumi?
Let me know!

OnS Theories (16S). Ninth Theory - A drug that could change everything with Ashera’s loyalty towards the First.
Hello everyone, another theory for the day, I hope everyone’s doing well!
As you might have noticed, I made a previous theory of Ashera whenever he’d betray or not the First. Within this, let’s talk about a detail I didn’t notice until reading again the manga, but for that, let’s get into depth shall we?
As you might recall, chapter 98 left us with a huge doubt along unwelling emotions due to how Ashera became the center of decisions within said chapter.
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 98
And of course, this panel alone only leads to a possible betrayal but; why is there a chance Ashera might betray the First Progenitor?
If many might recall, Ashera recalled his past not thanks to the awakening of the demon Mikaela but rather, someone from the outside made it possible. What do I mean?
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 77
Back in chapter 77, the Hyakuya Sect managed to infiltrate the JIDA without detection; furthermore, they were able to track down Yu and Asuramaru; leading to his kidnap but; there’s something rather interesting within this, what could it be?
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 77
Correct. Before Mikaela’s ordeal, Rigr Stafford planned things way before hand; which only lead to the kidnapping of Yu by the Hyakuya Sect but also to bringing back the memories of a former progenitor Ashera Tepes who is mostly known as Asuramaru.
But what does this exactly imply? Does this mean Ashera will follow suit the First’s plans?
As crazy it might seem, Ashera’s memories weren’t brought by the Firs or the demon Mikaelat but rather by Rigr Stafford giving him an insight of his fear and how his life came to an end as a human.
But, what was the purpose of bringing his memories back? Could it be possible that Rigr was aware the First would enter in contact with Ashera?
There’s actually a hint towards this and it’s visible back in chapter 73
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 73
The chapter alone was itself a plan for Shikama to bring Shinoa to open her heart; but, within this, he also aimed to make Ashera remember who he was and what was his ulterior goal until it was halted by Yu who came to his rescue thanks to Shinoa herself.
But, how exactly does this play in benefit for humans or rather, how would this affect the plans of the First?
Perhpas the fact that Rigr brought back some memories of Ashera or allowed him to recall who he was before he fell right into the trap of the First was so he could have a will, that he was able to think and decide what to do and decide if what he did was correct.
Such hint of hesitation or rather consciousness is displayed in chapter 98:
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 98
But returning once again to a former question of how Rigr’s actions could affect the First and his desires, it actually goes to the drug used on Yu that allowed Ashera to start rememebering, but why?
The reason is simple. Thanks to said drug, there were two lances that were in Yu’s back, Ashera was able to remember his existance alone and perhaps this might have no ulterior relevance but, there’s an issue within this and that is the fact we don’t know the side effects said drug and those lances could have done to Yu and Ashera alone,
Therefore, it’s possible that thanks to what Yu got shot back in chapter 77, could work for benefit of humanity
A theory that is rather short but well, what do you think?
Friend or foe? Choose
P.S: Theories don’t focus on ships and remain within a neutral point of view
