SOTE Headcanon #13

Hey can we talk about how out of our entire gang of NPCs in Shadow of the Erdtree - you know, Sir Ansbach, Sir Moore, Thiollier, Needle Knight Leda, Dryleaf Dane, Redmane Freyja... - the only one without a name is the Hornsent?
That's all he's referred to as.
Shadow of the Erdtree starts you out with the mass graves on the Gravesite Plain and the Belurat Tower Settlement in which you learn of Messmer's crusade - a straight up genocide of the Hornsent people orchestrated by Marika and almost even the entire obliteration of their culture - but then you're introduced to our group of NPCs and the Hornsent is the only one whose name we never get. He doesn't have an identity other than the group of people in which he belongs to. Now, this could be taken as the Hornsent carrying on what's left of his culture and his people, making what's left of them his entire identity. But it could also be taken as yet another erasure of the Hornsent people themselves. The erasure of personal identity in never giving him a name. As if he weren't important enough to be called by his name at all, burying him as nothing but "just a Hornsent".

Shil's mom is the current leader of the Sun elf tribe. She's very proud and stubborn, but has also a soft spot for her family. Its still not recommended to get on her bad side (even Lord Kann fears her)!
Her other flaws is her shortsightedness and prejudice, which makes her to jump to conclusions very quickly.
And she wants for the elves thats her tribe will be the leading one.
Sound familiar?
SOTE Headcanon #9
The mysterious Hunter is Lord Kanns secret personal killer. But the lord lacks proper control over him. Because of this, he lives in the forest instead of the citadel.
The Hunter is cunning but mentally unstable and unpredictable. But he has still a sense of honor.
And physically the Hunter is much more agile, faster and stronger than Balabust or Daiman. He possess a terrifying good skill with twin blades and is able to summon more when needed.
SOTE Headcanon #7
Luna is the current guardian of the source of Salmacis' Well, which lies high in the mountains. Because of this she wears mostly winter outfits and knows ice-based magic to survive there. Her basic powers are water and moon magic.
Nayade is the keeper of the Ancient Tree close to the village. Her duty is to keep it healthy, because the trees energy is the main source of the Fairies well being and main wall against the elves. Needless to say, her powers are themed around plants and rocks.
Thalia is a Fire Fairy, but since an incident she is afraid to use her magic.
Apologies in advance for this bizarre question, but for survival reasons, if needed, could humans eat Horsemen of John meat if they cooked it?
Pffff 😂😂😂😂😂
Bizarre? Omg, this reminds me of how Kiana Kaslana would suggest eating Honkai Beasts.
To be fair, Idk haha 😅 what are they even made of?
Mayhaps they could be edible for demom wielder users...? But average humans huh... I don't know...
