🍔 Review № 482 ━ 📍 Bryggans Grill ★★★★☆ • Bryggans Grill in the Swedish town Onsala moved into an old grill kiosk by the Gottskär harbour in the summer of 2021. This new establishment focus on smash burgers with a bespoke meat mix in order to keep the fat contents just right. Their menu is nice and short with just 3 burgers, where a single 75-gram patty burger costs 69–75 SEK (8–9 USD) and a burger with two patties costs 99–105 SEK (11.5–12.5 USD). An additional 35 SEK (4 USD) will get you french fries and a soft drink as well. • Choosing a burger was easy, and we ordered a double "Bryggans Baconburgare" with cheese, onions, pickles, bacon jam and mayo. The burger looked great when they served it, and it was immediately clear that it had been cooked properly. The beef had a great crust, and the great beefy flavours were intense and fit nicely. Their potato bun had been toasted and held together well, just as we'd hoped. But the biggest star after the meat was actually their bacon jam. It was sweet, salty and a bit smoky, and really tied all the flavours together.
