A Dry Weekend | Open
Sunday Afternoon, Patio Area
One would think that going to a fancy traditional Onsen Inn would consist of at least SOME time in the water. A dip in the large got spring baths, the communal baths, or even a private one. Maybe even to dip only the legs in. Bring a swimsuit and relax.
That wasn’t on Sal’s vacation plan list however, he didn’t even have a suit with him. Instead the journalist just sat in a chair on a patio of the Inn and wrote in a small notebook. Lots of thoughts, tidbits, and ideas to write about littered the pages in handwriting that seemed hardly legible. He did promise to his employer he’d write about the traditional Inn.
Sal leaned back in the chair and let out a small sigh. There wasn't a lot that got the journalist down, he was normally quite upbeat about most anything he could work into a positive. There was always a good side to any story, even if it was just life experience. Though that's how he looked at it usually.
Some weekends it was just a little hard to not be self conscious about having a prosthetic leg.
