(1/34 scale) Traditional British Corner shop - The start of the interior, I've gone for a wooden counter and this was achieved so far by using white plasticard to make the room and then I sprayed it with white primer before painting the wooden areas black and then some mahogany brown. Swipe to see my tin plate signs I've added to the shop front. I applied some gloss to these to give at least a little shine to them. I need to weather these up a little too to add to the overall effect. (1/34 scale) Traditional British Corner shop - Let me take you through the pics... Top left is of the undercoat stage which is a wood finish as would be the materials used for the structure of the fascia. The picture on the right shows the actual colour I intend the shop front to be, a dark green colour (which makes me think of the shop at the @bclivingmuseum) and my plan is to lightly sand the green back to reveal some wood areas showing through... (1/34 scale) Traditional British Corner shop - Brick work!!! I live it! I wanted to pick out every individual brick the best I could and create that old brick feel so often seen still up and down the UK. I applied a few washes first of light sand colours mixed with darker brown tones and then I mixed varying shades of oranges and browns and also a rust colour which surprised me...
