on the run. tbh she’s probably a toss up between rocky road and cheesecake brownie. i think with both of them there’s a lot of shit that goes on when it comes to both of them, and i think that’s tris as a whole. she’s got a lot going on to her and she can’t be just one simple thing —- she’s a cluster of everything.

✾ - What do you look for in other people’s writing?answered!☆ - How did you go about getting a grip on your muse’s character?when i first made tris, i had only seen the movie. so i saw the movie a few more times before deciding that i could actually take her on as a muse. since then, i read the series, then reread the series, watched the movie again a few more times, just to see if i missed anything about her character. when it seemed like i had a good idea of how she was supposed to act and how she reacts to things, i started shying away from what was typically her mannerisms in the book, and started to come up with my own voice for her. since doing that, i've actually grown very fond of tris as a character ( fun fact, she was not my favorite character in the books! ) and it's gotten very easy to get a hold of her as a muse!

honestly, you're amazingly genuine. you don't buy into dramas, you just check yourself out of them which is a great quality to have. you're always one for a positive word or even just like, a soundboard if someone's feeling weird. not to mention, your writing has grown and evolved and become more incredible than i think you realize! your characters are always beautifully complex and so much fun to interact with. keep on keeping on, mags!
