We're recruiting!
Hey everyone! As you all might have noticed, our releases have become pretty sparse lately. It doesn't mean our love for Oofuri has faded away. We simply don't have enough time currently to commit to scanlation properly. So we are beginning recruitment to replenish our team! We need: 1. Second translator. What to do: translate Oofuri from Japanese to English, which can be pretty heavy with baseball terminology. You don't need to know Japanese perfectly, and you'll have a bunch of proofreaders to help you. 2. Dedicated typesetter. What to do: work in Photoshop with text. You need to have Photoshop installed and at least basic knowledge of how it works. We will provide guides, instructions, font presets and material to practice. 3. More proofreaders. What to do: read the initial translation very carefully and make suggestions with corrections: grammar, text composition, logical errors, baseball terminology - all included. Knowledge of Japanese is very welcome but not required. For all roles: we don't expect you to sacrifice all your time, as Oofuri manga itself is published monthly. But to work in a scanlation team, especially if it's a new thing for you, some discipline and time commitment is required.
