Don: Ahah! Wonderful Joke! Well uhh... I think we are going to take some time to... bond... Yes! Because uhh... I think we've been doing the opposite of bonding... or resting...
Leo in the back ground: What can we ask about this experiment? What exactly happened to this Leo? No that would sound- *stressed and trying to make sense of the science fair.*
April: Here are some bracelets! *Stayed up all night with Don and Leo to make MANY bracelets.*
Raph: *Has been plastered by paint/ink and glitter, and is not happy about it.*
Michael: *Couldn't handle the arts and crafts fair. Clings to the stuffie and crocheted worms for comfort. Thanks for those.*
For the past few weeks Don had observed how his siblings have struggled to enjoy themselves at this reunion, especially his new brothers. Leo had stressed himself to no end trying to make as many observations and notes as he can about the science fair, only to come to Don for deeper explanations. April had tried to be her positive nothing-can-stop-me self but staying up all night to finish crafts and the barrage of slime attacks and glitter attacks had been testing her. Oh the glitter. If they weren't careful, the other cabins may have to deal with repercussions of sending Raph over the edge with the glitter and slime. It had been Don's mistake in thinking Raph would like the paintball fight. That must've hit too close to his endless battles in the Nexus. Regardless, it did not help the situation either. Raph had gotten snappier and less polite as the activities wore on, and as Michael became more withdrawn.
Don had noticed how many other Michaelangelos seemed to enjoy the arts and crafts fair, yet Michael had not. He seemed to get rather upset whenever someone would ask him to join in the art activities, and would give a polite but very withdrawn refusal to join. He wouldn't even accept crafts from the others, all except for a spider lantern from little Misa. The lantern seemed to remind Michael of something... or was it someone...? Don hoped that Michael wasn't missing that crazed lunatic of a spider... lady. She was bad news.
The more the craft fair went on, the more Michael would hide out in the loft of their cabin, clinging to the crocheted worms and stuffie that were given to him. The disaster trio had wondered what it was that upset Michael about the fair, but Raph seemed to know and it appeared to make him upset too.
Don himself was... overwhelmed. There had been several moments where he had shut down, and more moments of trying to keep up the spirits of his family. It had been failing though. Being a comforter wasn't his strong suit, and it never had been, but he had to step up to the role. After all, he was their leader.
When the science fair started and made Leo stressed and wanting to comprehend everything, even if that meant neglecting to take care of himself, Don knew his family needed a break. A long one. Where they could talk out what has they all have struggled with, and not have to worry about others overhearing.
Their councilor had been understanding and had allowed them to take a breather, and sort things out on their own, even providing a tent big enough for the five of them to fit comfortably in and pointing out a location not too far from the campsite.
Now it was time to begin the long conversation that Don had been dreading slightly. At least they had plenty of food gifted and bought, and they could watch the shenanigans ensue outside the tent if they needed a distraction. Yes... It was time.

The reunion has taken a toll on the OOH crew unfortunately and they need to take a break and a breather from the activities of the reunion. They'll be watching for the sidelines.
(I can't really focus on the reunion. I have other projects and things going on, including the actual OOH comic. Thank you for the opportunity though!!)
