I think this turned out really cool and loved doing this!! I was gonna turn it into a video format but I am so tired rn fhdhdhdjddj I wanted to make a formal post about it tho (even tho AJ already did technically fhdjjdjdjdjfj)

And I’m thinking about drawing this sona more? Maybe? I have too many sonas 😭 Idk man I have a poor sense of identity what do you expect from me XD I do think this design is fun tho and need to get around to doing a full doodle of her eventually…

2024 Art Summary

From June forward, all of these feel so recent 😭 idk what to say, this was a fun art year and my baby girl Frida was born which was great. It’s funny bc I could barely find any art for January and February but as soon as she was created in March, I had an abundance of artwork to choose from fbdhdhbdnbxnxb

And we’re gonna ignore that I’m posting this in 2025 bc I was going to post it last night, but my power went out and messed things upppppp

OC-Tober Day Three: Song

Soooo like yeah this is based on The Well by The Crane Wives, mainly just in color palette and like the lyrics suit him. I was supposed to create a character and I kinda did in a way… his character design was in a random sketchbook and I liked it but it needed more so I reworked him for this. His name is Reuben and he sort of has the habit of hurting the people around him, one of them being his brother who ended up dying. Right now, his brother is a ghost who’s haunting him and just hanging out to try to help him figure his stuff out and get over his guilt. That’s all I really know about him right now and like, if you have an idea that you think would be cool, please share bc they need something and you guys have such good ideas you’re so cool

OC-Tober Day One: First OC

@stormyth-art ‘s oc-tober 2024 prompts

Um so like idk how many prompts im gonna do but i did this one, so it’s a start!

This is my first ever oc on the first page of my first sketchbook. As you can see in the image, he is a hashtag “OC,” how wonderful :) and like yeah his name is Braazen Verfluchtein and as you can see I went all in with creating a unique name for him. He is a Darkin, which means that he can control shadows/ turn into shadows in the world where this came from (shout out my friend who made the world, you the goat) and then he’s also a Defender meaning he can create shields (in his case out of shadows) the mark on his face is an indicator of his powers. I think only the Darkins had the mark bc they’re kinda made of shadow but different variations denote the subclasses and there were so many subclasses we had a whole google doc that was good times. I think this is the second time I’ve ever drawn him ever so woohoo he gets an update

As I look again this looks kinda funky so let’s not dwell on that… but I had to do a texture painting of sorts and decide on good ole Cass as the subject. Her face took waaaaaay too long bc I had to find the right colors on random magazines and I could only find the tiniest slivers at a time it was so annoying but yeah, art class stufffffff
