The clock on his arm ticked DOWN from the seconds. He wasn’t nervous. If anything, he PITIED whoever was going to be stuck with him as a soulmate. He wasn’t the most social person, nor was he very affectionate. The only thing he would count as a POSITIVE was that he was loyal and honest.
20 seconds until he met the person he was to spend the rest of his life with. The thought was almost unnerving. He had never met this person, yet their clock was counting down in sync with his.
