Do they have any nicknames? Where did they come from? She is known among members of the Carthel as the “Seagull”, after the incident on a pirate ship, after which her magic awakened. “Oomie” is also a nickname, or rather a shorter name Rik calls her as Aluminia sounds too complicated for his tongue and ridiculously aristocratic for a small goblin.
On a night before the Battle of Serpent's Heart
"Look at da sky, shortie. Da stars be so blikkin' beautiful today. Tomorrow be a good day to become a loa..."
"Yer not gonna die tomorrow, ye stupid murlock! Nor any time soon, or else I'll find ye there an' mind blast the hell out of yer spirit ass! Tsk!"
She kept silent for a while, but then wispered desperately:
"Ye know it's not yer battle, don'cha, Rik? Yer a Zandalari, goddamit! Not a Horde. Not a Hozen."
"Dat matter not. What matters is dat tomorrow my forest brethern will need my help. And ah will let dem have it, and grook all the ookin' wikkets ah can, or get grooked myself."
Luckily, he managed to survive it. Yet still once in a while Oomie finds herself panting loudly in bed, covered with cold sweat and with eyes full of tears after waking up from a nightmare where she was saying goodbye to a person she might have not been able to hug ever again...
“Jus’ put me down already, or I swear yer gonna regret it!”
“I not be lettin’ ya to no ookin’ Orgrimmar siege, mon. Why should I care ‘bout da wickets ya Horde be to me? No matter who dem leader be, dem still be bunch of cowards an’ traitors. I be risking no more important persons gettin’ grooked for ikkin’ reasons. Now stop dooking around an’ get dis florkin’ idea out of ya head!”
“I couldn’ care less about Garrosh, ye stupid murloc! Horde an’ Alliance, both swarmin’ the Durotar… The population of durotar scorpions is at risk of becomin’ ENDANGERED!!”
Oomie is my goblin priest, overly obsessed with D.E.H.T.A. ideals and wildlife protection.
Rik is my young Zandalari troll rogue, exiled from his tribe in Pandaria, who happened to join the Forest Hozens in Jade Forest some time before the Horde landed in Pandaria and became allies with them. Being raised by Zandalari, he can't help but be wary towards the Horde, this feeling turning into contempt after seeing all the evil deeds and sha-infection its people brought to Jade Forest, watching his hozen brothers die for nothing under the war banners of the Horde. Oomie herself is not patriotic as well, hardly interested in politics and faction pride as long as it doesn't harm the animals around.
And yes, these two are a couple.
