So, tbh I've never actually played a Kirby game, sue me, so question: does it ever state that specifically Dark Meta corrupted Sectonia? or could it have been Dark Taranza?

The reason people say it was DMK is because he shows up in Dededetour, the extra mode of Triple Deluxe, from the dimensional mirror which corrupted Sectonia. It never says it explicitly. However there’s so many interpretations and I think that one is very very interesting.
