Deep down, Floyd probably has abandonment issues with the older bros the same way Branch does. Those three didn't just walk out on Branch, they walked out on Floyd without a goodbye or backward glance either.
Imagine how much that must have hurt. Floyd was the baby brother for years before Branch. They definitely doted on him. They loved him. Protected him.
And left his life without a thought.
Headcanon that Floyd didn't just leave because he wanted a solo career. He also left because he had a storm of emotions inside him about the abandonment and didn't want to put that on a baby or his grandmother. He kept it together but he was about to breakdown.
Branch isn't the only one those three owe huge apologies to.
