It’s been too long since she sent the message to her brother, earning her no response, not even the little ‘seen by’ message that she’d set to show up to ease her worries.
This, of course, does the opposite. She grows continuously more worried.
The only thing Meiko can think to do is message someone else--someone she knows Kaito is close to, and someone she’d found to be reliable ever since she’d been hired by said someone.
