Hi, I've seen that you've been doing patronus analysis and I was wondering if it would be possible to do mine? I'm a Slytherin with a Mongrel dog patronus
Dogs in general are symbolic of devotion, protection, and bravery. Mongrels, often more kindly known as “mixed-breeds” or “mutts,” are dogs with the ancestry of multiple breeds, without direct and intentional breeding by humans. Although there are those who compare mongrels unfavorably to purebreds, most breeders contest that mongrels are generally much healthier and sturdier than purebred dogs. This is why this mod in particular thinks it’s much better to adopt a mutt from the pound, like her precious baby, rather than go out searching pet shops for a purebred. Mongrels come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Having a Mongrel Dog as your Patronus means you find comfort in resilience. Like many Slytherins, you are proud and incredibly resourceful, but like your Patronus you are also tough as nails. You have strong walls around your heart and so you are not easily hurt and can take a few blows without flinching. The nice thing about this, though, is when you do make friends, you will use those same walls to likewise defend your more sensitive loved ones from harm. You are a very loyal and protective friend, quick to defend your inner-circle if they are threatened. If you ever are forced to confront the kind of endless, relentless night that drains your resolve and steals your breath away, this guardian will come from you. It will leap from your wand and stand beside you protectively, and its presence will remind you of your inner strength. You have fought through plenty of things worse than this, and you will survive this to fight through even more worse things. You more than have that power.
