These giant fudge stuffed chocolate chip cookies are the ultimate indulgence. These cookies are soft and chewy, with a center oozing with fudge goodness.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 large eggs. 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 cup fudge chunks. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. One egg at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. You can add the chocolate chips, fudge chunks, and chopped walnuts if you want to. Press down on a piece of dough in your hand to make it flat. Put a piece of fudge in the middle and wrap the dough around it to make a big cookie ball. Do it again with the rest of the fudge chunks and dough. Place the cookie balls with the filling on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving enough space between each one. After the oven is hot, bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Have fun with your big chocolate chip cookies filled with fudge!
