Rich flavors of bourbon-spiked cream cheese swirled into decadent brownies. A tasty treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1/4 cup bourbon. 4 ounces cream cheese, softened. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1 egg yolk. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper in a baking pan. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl with a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a different bowl until the two are well mixed. Into the butter mixture, add the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well until the mixture is smooth. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, stirring just until everything is combined. Cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract should be mixed together until smooth in a different bowl. Spread the brownie batter out evenly in the pan that has been prepared. Put dollops of the cream cheese mix on top of the brownie batter. Make a marbled pattern in the brownie batter by swirling the cream cheese mixture through it with a knife or toothpick. Put the bourbon on top of the batter and drizzle it around. In a hot oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs on it. After taking the brownies out of the oven, let them cool in the pan for a while before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Cut it into squares when it's cool, and enjoy!
