Days off was not something that Remington did, hell it was her job to stick by Christina’s side. Which meant that she overheard things that she didn’t need to. Like right now. Moving away from the bedroom door, she moved around the huge apartment. It was like a fortress, Heading downstairs to get some water or something. That was when she heard the knock on the door, moving one of her hands to her back, that was when she wrapped her hand around the gun under her shirt. Glancing at the monitor that was when she noticed that it was Lux’s mother and she released her hold on the gun and dropped her hand back to her side. The former homeland security agent moved over to the door and answered it. “Ma'am.” She moved aside to let the other woman in. “They are rather per-occupied at the moment. If you are here to see Lux and Christina.”
She had met only met her a couple of times whenever she was with Christina and Lux and they had made small talk. Which made Rem feel better and she didn’t seem like a fly on the wall or something. The brunette couldn’t deny that she may have developed a small crush on Tanice but she couldn’t act upon it. Considering she didn’t have time to herself, and plus there was always her job to consider.
