Today a special feast for me. It is the feast day of Blessed Jordan of Saxony. The successor of St. Dominic as the Master of the Order of Preachers aka Dominicans. Why so special? Because he is 1/2 of my religious name. When I was received into with Lay Dominicans I received my religious name within the Order. Blessed Jordan and Blessed Diana were the two Dominicans after many discussions in prayer became the two I would ask to help me in my path that God had for me to reach Him. There are many of the Order who I also consider patrons (St. Dominic, Blessed Reginald of Orleans, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Catherine of Siena, Blessed Imelda, and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati just to name a few), but it is these two who I knew deep within me were the ones to help the majority pave my unpaved path towards God. Pray for us, #blessedjordanofsaxony #Dominicans #op4life #OrderofPreachers #jordanofsaxony #dianadandalo #LayDominicans Since today is a feast day I will follow the advice of one Dominican Friar that today I should celebrate with a cake! @sccard1 can I get a slice of cake? https://www.instagram.com/p/B8hIc_9FCdb/?igshid=1e9o0mpfzay0b
