An Opal Dragon I sketched for a friend :D
some better refs for my opal dragon character i've been working on! i still haven't decided on a name for them lol. if you missed my last post about them, this is a character that's going to be in my comic i've been drafting! the story is going to take place in an underworld/purgatory type setting, where these powerful demigod-like beings exist alongside the souls of humans who are stuck in this afterlife. this dragon is one of the demigods! its true/most powerful form is the huge multi-winged dragon, and when they're in a weakened state they revert to their tiny larval form. there's more forms in between, i just don't have the time to draw all of them xD plus in the comic, it'll mostly be in it's second stage as it's trying to regain it's power. hope to have more art/story to share soon! i've been doing a lot of character design work, i need to actually start drafting the pages and panels next :3c
i wanted to share a new character i'm working on for my comic, introducing [name still in progress] the dragon! they're a demigod-like being who gives sammy and nik their cupid powers. the huge winged dragon is it's true form, but when the comic starts it'll be in it's weakened larval form. so it needs sammy and nik's help to regain their power. i'm still deciding all the details, like a name lol. i'm using 'opal' as placeholder for now, but i want something more... interesting. i might make it something really complex and then everyone just calls them opal for short lol. and pronouns i think will be it/they! they'll probably be that middle form for most of the comic, so luckily i won't have to draw all those wings on the final form too frequently xD
