My name's Opali.
Opali the Invisible. Well, that's what some people call me. Not because I disappear, but, well... people forget I'm there. It happens. A lot. That's what happens when you have a garden troll father and a river troll mother.
If you see a rock breathing, a clump of moss staring at you, or something greenish-gray that shouldn't have eyes... that's probably me. Please don't shout.
I travel. I crawl, I climb, I stay still for hours, sometimes days. I listen. I observe. I take notes. Creatures appear more often when left alone.
I write down everything I can about those who live among the roots, underwater, behind walls, in corners no one looks at.
Sometimes they look back at me. Sometimes they try to eat my satchel. I am... honored, in those situations.
Oh, and if you hear someone growling right behind you, that's Gol. My assistant. He's not mean. He only bites when he's hungry.
And as I always say:
(What is not visible to your eyes is not nonexistent)
