𝒜𝓊𝓇ℴ𝓇𝒶 𝒮𝒾𝓃𝒾𝓈𝓉𝓇𝒶, has been the head of Hogwarts' astronomy department since September 1985. She is a determined and humble witch with a passion for stargazing. However, she also displays exceptional combat skills, as evidenced during the battle of Hogwarts. Sinistra prefers teaching her classes at midnight atop the astronomy tower, the highest point of the castle. Throughout her tenure, she forms close friendships with her fellow professors Wilhelmeina Grubbly-Plank, Minerva McGonagall, and Professor Sprout. Despite her sharp tongue, strict demeanor, and high expectations, she upholds a strong sense of integrity and remains loyal to the school, its students, and the staff. During gatherings, she can often be found seated on the left side of Albus Dumbledore. She continues to teach astronomy after having a hand in the rebuild of the school to its former glory under Minerva McGonagall.
