She thoughtfully hummed in efforts to simmer down her rising....anxiety? Excitement? Aerith couldn't differentiate the two as she walked into what she supposes will be where she'll spend the majority of her time now: the clinic. She quietly appreciated the rhythmic sound of her heel meeting the polished tile, giving her company in the quiet room.
She made a turn to her right, following her greeter's earlier direction of its office. Aerith noted how large the clinic actually was as she's made considerable walking distance. Her emerald eyes met with two double doors and a plaque that confirmed "Medics' Office."
Before she fetched the key from her pocket, one of the endtables beside the doors caught her attention. "Oh? What's this?" she reached over to a neatly folded white lab coat, unraveling it before her. "How nice! They even went through the trouble of stitching my name on it~" Aerith lightly scratched the embroidered A. Gainsborough with a finger. Clinical Medic read beneath it and she smiled sadly. Is that what they call me? Sounds professional... Like I'm actually going to stay here.... She pushed the thought away, and went walking back to the infirmary while slipping on her new coat.
"Look at me, I'm an actual pro now, Mom," she entertained herself as she posed dramatically in the middle of the walkway between the aisles of beds, letting the end of her coat swish and settle. The new recruit snickered at her own foolishness before spotting a wheeled stool. She looked up at the walkway before her. Then the stool again. An impish smile curled across her lips. She walked back a couple steps before running full-speed to the mobile chair and plopped herself forward onto the cushioned seat. Aerith didn't suppress her squeal for long as she accelerated down the clinic, spinning and laughing whilst basking herself in a childlike moment.
Her giggling soon stopped and followed with an "oof" as she met her face with a body and then the nicely polished floor.
"Oh, Gaia. I'm so sorry---!" she tried to scramble herself up before knocking her forehead with her victim's in their attempt to either pick themselves up or help her up. Real professional, she mentally chided at herself.
