Faith was something that Joe had carried with him, literally. His tattoos of bible verses and crosses were a daily reminder that God was always with him. Until the day of the accident. His father driving drunk, killed a family of four and was sentenced to life in prison. Since that day, Joe hadn’t been the same. How could he trust a God that sent his father away? Caused his mother to fall into a depression? That’s when he found the Pavs. They were the family that couldn’t be taken away from him.
