Don't worry, it's not as dire as the headline makes it seem! But as Open Access grows and becomes more successful, it also becomes more complicated, and when things get complicated there is opportunity for people to develop products to help people navigate the system. Librarians just need to keep in mind that a balance of solutions is needed, and products available right now may not be the most appropriate long-term solutions.
I do kind of like the Open Access/Punk Music analogy though.
