During the day the weather had been sightly cold, though in a blink of an eye night appeared and the temperature dropped dramatically. It may of caught Sheena off guard, she didn’t feel discomfort however even though her her nose was slightly cold and herfinger tip’s a tad red.
Being on call 24/7 was part of her job, a lovely golden retriever had had been in labour for a while, and of course their owner was concerned. She made sure Matt didn’t miss out on celebrating the new year besides helping seven puppies come into this world was far more important to Sheena than drinking alone by a fire.
She was on some sort of high, with all the happiness she was feeling; it was often a rare emotion for her to feel. Walking around the streets of sumner she hadn’t spotted many people, though she wasn’t concerned. Instead she couldn’t help but wonder about the puppies and how happy their Mother was.
She felt something land on her land, though it was slightly cold it didn’t feel too wet like rain, maybe it was snow she wasn’t sure though there was one thing that confused her. It was sad that the snow was slowly disappearing she couldn’t help but feel her happiness fade away.
“It’s a lovely night no?” She asked more to herself but she didn’t expect anyone to respond as she stared up to the sky watching the star’s sparkle.
