OPENFUSION (FUSIONFALL) - The Fight for the Future begins again!

For those of you who may not be aware, the original Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall MMORPG ran between the years of 2009 and 2013 until Cartoon Network closed it down, and it had a brief revival as FusionFall Retro until false claims led to the Cease and Desist of the entire FusionFall Universe project.

OpenFusion on the other hand, is a reverse-engineered client with two public servers, set in the Pre-Academy and Post-Academy versions. It also serves as a tool allowing someone to host their own server for the game!

Been playing a lot of FusionFall (OpenFusion) recently so I decided to draw out my character and add a little bio!

Their name is Specter. Their mother is a human Plumber (the alien police force kind) and father is just a normal, human, stay-at-home dad. Specter’s mother didn’t want them to become a Plumber until they reach 18, wanting a normal life for her child. Specter had access to some of their mum’s equipment, so they taught themselves how to use it, with a focus on swords. When and evil alien called Lord Fuse invaded Earth, Dexter, boy genius and famous hero, created a time machine to travel into the future to find a way to beat Fuse. It was experimental and extremally risky with maybe not a way to go back. Specter volunteered, as well as many other people, because of their training and knowledge of weapons and aliens, Specter was chosen as the hero to save Earth.  When Specter travelled through time a small part of their DNA consumed previous strands. This DNA was Aerophibian, as it was some of an ancestor. After returning to the Past, they decided to help their hero, Ben 10. Ben became their mentor and eventually the Galactic Enforcers heard of Specter’s deeds of helping Earth, and as they were to fighting Fuse’s forces on Planet Fuse, gave Specter the rank of Earth’s Galactic Enforcer.

Fusionfall Universe may be dead, but Fusionfall is back baby!

If you miss FuFa Retro as much as I do, I highly recommend checking out OpenFusion! It's an open-source version of FusionFall that you can play right now, AND since it's open-source...

As long as you've downloaded the game, you don't need OpenFusion's public server to play it anymore. Meaning that, if CN takes down OF's servers, you can still play the game.

CARTOON NETWORK HAS NO POWER OVER US. I REPEAT: CARTOON NETWORK CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO KILL THE GAME NOW.

As someone with a strong preservationist mindset, this is super exciting to me! FusionFall is safe!
