As soon as she was able to talk it was clear that she was gifted. Maybe not in the same way that her oldest was. But gifted nonetheless. Her mother had her reading tarot and brewing potions as soon as she was old enough. It was in these areas that Sarah excelled. She didn’t need to be smart or clever like Winnie and she didn’t need to be, well, Mary. She was beautiful and that was her ticket to success. So said her mother, after all. Pretty people didn’t need much to get ahead in life and praise Satan that Sarah was pretty. Because she sure as hell wasn’t smart. Her mother emphasized that all she had to do was bat an eyelash and give a smile. That everyone loved a girl with good looks and would bend over backwards for them. But when her mother was hung for witchcraft, what she hadn’t taught Sarah was how to survive without needing anyone else.

Thankfully, she still had Winnie and Mary. Not that her sisters really cared about her or for her. But as time went on it was obvious that they all had the same goal; to stay young. Sarah was terrified of growing old and ugly. What would she do then? Sure, she could brew a good love potion but that couldn’t get her very far in life. When Winnie started dating a boy, she realized that all she needed was a man to take care of her. Billy was just an easy target and while he may have formed genuine feelings for her it was debatable on whether or not the feeling was mutual. But regardless of that as soon as Winnie caught on to their little game it was game over. Sarah may not have suffered repercussions but Billy had. She was a little heartbroken that her sister took away her shiny new toy but there were plenty of fish in the sea.

One other gift that she possessed was that of siren song. Granted the soft and alluring voice that lured children to them as she sang a special song. A song just for them. That was her job when they formed a plan on how to achieve their goal. She would lure the children that Mary sniffed out and Winnie would brew the potion that would grant them the ability to suck their life force away. A special sort of little girl came waltzing into their cozy cabin and by the time her brother came rushing in to save her....it was too late. The three sisters were young and beautiful once again and the girl was long gone. Just before Mary warned them of an oncoming mob, the sisters cast a spell on the boy and packed their bags. They hid for three hundred years. Surviving on the souls and lives of children. Searching for Winnie’s beloved Book of Shadows. Their search led them to Portus Cale where Sarah found her calling as a match maker. What harm does a love potion do here and there?

Though Winnie is the most abusive one towards both sisters. Mary will sometimes make the occasional jeer. It hurts her feelings and she tries to ignore it but sometimes being pretty and nothing more comes at a price.

Even though she is her boss, the two will bond over sibling hatred. Aphrodite assures her that her sisters are just jealous of her and not to worry about what they say.

Between her and her brother, it was obvious who took magic more seriously. While the two were taught how to harness their magic equally, Merlin took his studies seriously. Madison, on the other hand, used what magic she had to create things like explosions and transfiguration. Both of which she was excellent. Her mother would scold and reprimand her for not taking her studies as to heart as her brother. Spending most if not all of her life being compared to Merlin left her feeling inadequate and resentful. She started taking her studies less and less seriously until the day when she just never showed up for one of her mother’s lessons. And by that time she was only eighteen. Eighteen and she knew everything. At least that’s what Madison had convinced herself of.

Though since she had stopped going to her lessons, Merlin came out on top. Whereas she fell short with her magic. If you were to ask her, however, she could surpass him. Madison knows this deep down and her hate festered inside her until she was left with nothing else. She lives her life in the shadows and works from behind the scenes whenever her services are called upon. Madison hates everything seen as wholesome. So much so that she gets physically sick from the very thought. But that’s what you get when you focus all your energy on trying to surpass and best your brother. Not that it really bothered her any. Madison cares about one thing and one thing only; being seen as the very best.

Upon hearing news that Merlin had traveled to another realm, she jumped at the opportunity. Seeing this as her chance to come out on top and prove herself. Madison packed her bags and found herself in Portus Cale as well. Taking a job at the local university as one of the youngest professors there. But that isn’t where she wants to stay. Should a better opportunity arise, Madison will flock and keeps her eyes open in search of her brother to finally show him who’s the best.

A fighter through and through. There was speculation when her mother was pregnant that she would lost the baby. But not Vitani. She wouldn’t have it. When her mother found out she was a girl she tried everything she could to get rid of the baby. So when it came time to give birth they were ready to see either a still born or a baby addicted to drugs. Miraculously, it was not the case Vitani, instead, was somehow resistant to everything her mother had taken. All her mother wanted was boys and with her brother, Nuka, she had gotten a child that was near mentally ill. When she was about three years old, her mother tried again and this time got the boy she had always wanted. Treating him like gold and Vitani like garbage. Nuka was completely forgotten in the long run. But as she grew older, she fought even harder for her mother’s affection and praise.

As a result, Zira only saw this as an opportunity to put her daughter to the test. Just putting her under every vigorous test she could possibly think of. Some that were dangerous and most that should kill her. Yet Vitani came out on top every time. But no matter what she did, Zira never batted an eye at the victory or accomplishment. When her brother, Kovu, came of age that he was allowed to go do missions with them it was time for her to put him to the test. Vitani would run away and leave him to fend for himself. Only to have him come up beside her. There was nothing she could do to rid herself of her baby brother. He got everything she ever wanted and even when it was her idea to overthrow Sarabi and Kiara he got the praise.

When it was time for the mission to be taken out, it was Vitani that took the lead. After all, she knew everything that needed to be done. She knew how to do it. She knew it all. When things went south Nuka ran back to their mother and Kovu was left at a standstill. However, she went ahead and followed their targets to another city. War was in her nature and when this new place broke out in the very thing she was versed in... Well, it was a piece of cake and Vitani refused to be struck down.

Her dear brothers. She hates them both but she hates Kovu more than Nuka. All she wants is to at least be appreciated.

Her lovely mother who she has grown to hate so much. She still strives for the recognition she deserves though. Taka, she is unsure how to feel about him. He claims that Kovu is “the chosen one” but he’s his son so she is sure he’s biased.

Oldest of three it was clear who the favorite was. Given everything and more. Every single thing she needed to study what she needed while her brothers were forced to fend for themselves. After all, Sharlene was special. She had magic that the others didn’t and she needed everything she could to master her magic of illusion (her specialty). Sharlene knew what she had to offer and what she could do. Which meant that she was allowed to treat her brothers like they were beneath her. Because they were. Often telling her brothers to do lowly jobs and get her this and that. However, while Lucien grew tired of her ways and challenged her on the daily. Bastion just took it like a dog that had been kicked. Over the years it was obvious that Sharlene harbored no feelings of care or love towards anyone other than their cousin; Osten.

In her eyes, he could do no wrong. She was terrified of him and idolized him at the same time. Wanting all the praise and affection that was given to Bastion. But never succeeding. Not even after gaining the nickname Shock for electrocuting her entire class did she get praise. Instead she was cast to the side and sometimes laughed at. Which was a far cry from what she was used to receiving. Sharlene began to try new and bigger things to try and get the attention she thought she deserved. Going as far as offering up the idea that they befriend his enemy, Jack, to try and bring Osten all his secrets. Though it worked Bastion came out as the favorite once again and Sharlene had to work even harder to try and gain the recognition she needed and wanted so badly.

When Osten moved, it was her idea to follow. Keep a close eye on what was happening and try to come up with a better plan. But none of her ideas were ever good enough. Still, she prided herself in her cleverness and continued to treat her brothers like they were nothing more than the dirt that encrusted in the bottom of her combat boots. Because to her that is exactly what they were. But now even Lucien is getting more attention than she is and Sharlene feels slighted.

Lock him up for fifty years, then see if he talks ||

Some might say that she’s just a little too high strung. Some might say that she has an anger problem. Some might actually be right about her. As a child, Iracebeth was given everything her little heart could possibly desire. Of course, one might imagine what hearing the word ‘no' might do to her considering she’s never actually heard it before. Everything was handed to her on a silver platter until the day her sister was born. Once she had a baby sister it seemed that no was all little Iracebeth ever heard. Which infuriated the little girl. She would throw temper tantrums like no one has ever seen before. Often times beheading her toys out of rage and tearing the head off her favorite teddy bear. While her parents were never scared of their daughter (certainly not the Queen as this is where her anger started from), the staff was absolutely terrified of her. Her sister was given everything without even having to ask. Staff and peers were delighted to be around the little girl as she was as sweet as could be. Quite the opposite of her sister.

But one thing that no one ever knew was how badly the Queen’s temper had gotten. Behind closed doors there was a new fight every night and Iracebeth was supposed to comfort her sister, instead told her that it was all her fault. Telling her that she never should have been born. But they didn’t know that the fight was over and their parents heard it all. Their father was furious and blamed everything on his wife and that was the beginning of the end. Once the divorce was settled, Iracebeth would go with her doting mother and her sister would stay with their father. It was only a matter of time before her mother’s grief over losing the love of her life took over and in result she took her own life. Iracebeth, being the only one who was there, was blamed for her mother’s death and flocked to her home in Wonderland. But everything was not how she remembered. It appeared that her father had also taken his life and left her sister in reign of the throne. This infuriated her further being that she was the rightful heir since she was the oldest of the two.

A war ensued and Iracebeth was eventually named the victor. Casting her sister out of Wonderland forever and ruling it with an iron fist. Soon, she married a man after her own heart and the two ruled with anger in their blood and hatred in their hearts. Years went by and Iracebeth was truly in bliss and ordered that anyone who disobeyed them or angered her to be beheaded. Thus was the Queens way and eventually beheading wasn’t enough. Soon, Iracebeth discovered that she could pry the hearts of those who displeased her from their chest and use them to her advantage by simply reaching into their chest. Giving her the nickname the Queen of Hearts. But then a little girl came along and that was the beginning of another end for Iracebeth. Her subjects began questioning her and challenging her rules. However, that never lasted long and soon little Alice was out of her hair for good.

However, she caught word that her lovely sister had moved realms. Iracebeth followed the rumor to her next destination. A city where war was her second language and she could smell the mayhem. It was like home all over again. With her allies already in the winning position, Iracebeth declared her stance with the wicked and maybe she could bring an end to little Alice Liddell for good. Wonderland would be rid of her sister and everything would go back to the way it was.
