The Past

Callie was born and raised in Oakland with her mother and her older sister. She used to have a dad but a few months after she was born he split on the three of them, a fact her mother constantly reminds her of. She grew up blaming the fact that he left on herself and of course her mother’s constant comments about how inadequate Callie was at pretty much everything didn’t help her guilt at all. However, her mother did find one thing that Callie was good at: being a pretty face on display. No matter how hard she would try to show her mother how smart she was or how athletic/talented she was it never seemed to warrant her mother’s attention. Her mother believed she was nothing more than just a pretty face and that was her golden ticket for being successful in life. It was a constant frustration for her.

Luckily she found some solace in her older sister, Felicity, who had grown out of trying to appease their mother when they were kids. But now that Felicity is out in her own place, Callie feels a little alone at home when Felicity isn’t there. Felicity has offered for Callie to come and live with her, finally getting her out of the constant torture of their mother’s disapproval but in the end, no matter what she does, she is still their mother and they are all she has left. Dad left her, Felicity left her, and Callie is the only one left in her life, making the decision to leave even harder on her.

The Present

Appeasing her mother and living the life of a normal teenager are really the only concerns that Callie has to worry about. She doesn’t know much of the supernatural world other than that is all very real but as she’s growing older she’s become more and more interested in it. Secretly, she is hunting for some answers, but will she like what she finds? And will she be able to find it before somebody decides to make a meal out of her?

Two parents, three siblings and a large home with everything that she could ever dreamed of wanting but I guess that is what made Sasha just generally a happy person. Sasha grew up with no worries, no cares and two extremely loving parents that would rather have her sitting on their hip than sitting at home with a nanny. They had been extreme family people and they even incorporated their businesses and jobs into their kids lives. Sasha's dad worked for the Daily Prophet, he was in charge of final designs and in which Sasha or one of her siblings chose most often. Her mother owned a cake shop in a wizard village and also took orders from all across the wizarding world, Sasha was one of the most eccentric children for this and she loved helping pick colour schemes, designs and she'd be a bursting pool of energy that was really her mothers muse. If her parents entertained family or friends, Sasha would often be the life of the part and always showing off on how she picked the colourings and designs of the cakes that sat in front of them. Sasha being the middle child, wasn't as the stereotype went, she got just as much attention as her siblings, if not more at times. With her older brother taking off to Hogwarts two years before her, Sasha wasn't happy, she wanted him to stay or she wanted to go with him. Though Sasha thought that she wasn't magical, she never had shown any signs of it, her siblings hadn't shown much but Sasha not at all but it all came down to the awareness of the kids, they knew their parents had been a witch and a wizard, so nothing was ever going to go out of control. Sasha always worried until the day her letter came and the often bright light of Sasha seemed to just burst even more. The day was consumed with her running around the house, screaming and asking 'when can we go to Diagon Alley? Now?.... How about now? Please, please, please.' She had been like a child consuming to much sugar. Though when they finally got to Diagon Alley, Sasha had gotten far too prepared. She dived into extra cauldrons, she had two spare uniforms in case something went wrong and she tried to convince Ollivander that she needed another identical wand in case she would break the one she'd just gotten. 

When reaching Hogwarts, Sasha had been quite disappointed not to be sorted alongside her brother in Gryffindor but he did let her know that some of his best friends had been in Hufflepuff. Also, her parents knowing her disappointment filled her in that her grandmother had been a Hufflepuff and one of the greatest and kindest woman that many had ever known. From these statements, she grew into a great lot of Hufflepuff love and now one of the most known in the school for being so friendly and of course like a mother figure. Mother figures don't always come without a nagging side though, Sasha always pushes people, not in a bad way to do bad things but she always is trying to make people enjoy life by doing certain things. Whether it's being hesitant to try-out for Quidditch, in going to talk to someone they like or practice a new spell, Sasha will gladly have her hands on their shoulders and pushing them into it. She seems to know what's best for people and that seems to scare people more than anything which can lead to retaliation from others who don't like when someone can tell them what they want. Some times, Sasha can overstep her boundaries, she doesn't mean to but she has to help, be kind or try to be a friend which at time can push people away. She can stick herself into arguments and in between people which can get seriously messy. Most people love her for her fun and bright side, she's loyal, funny, and most just call her 'little miss sunshine' because she does tend to bring out happiness in others. Only, people fail to realise that even though she's fun, upbeat and kind, she won't let you walk all over her, she can be fierce and if you are rude to her, she can do the same. She will try to be the better person and walk away but she's no ones doormat.
