Do you believe in the joy of breakfast?
By the time my soggy cereal failed to give me enough energy, I thought I needed some connection between my breakfast and my rest of the day. That's how my journey, "The Pleasure of a Journey to Breakfast" has started.
The interesting point was change each moment that routinely carried on into a essential ritual so integrate it into simply part of the creative activities, so It can bring me breaths of inspiration.
As my ideas were organised, I allotted time to integrate my breakfast into the middle of the creative activities that I can play with. For me the journey is not all about taste. Rather I'd like to simply appreciate the whole preparation: finding recipe, cafes and deciding to go for a walk at early morning.
1. Cranberry Sourdough The classic recipe for Sourdough was found. The classics don't need to be changed to be fancy. I just simplified it and prepared some cranberries to add a bit of lovely chewy texture with sweetness. Before the day, the dough was made and covered over night. The single thing I did for my breakfast before I go for some fresh breeze toward canal was rolling dough to make a "roll shape" and separating it into two. Curiously, I finished some work for bread and picked some supermarket bread to feed swans. Feeding swans and geese has become a part of my morning ritual since November, 2014. It helps me feel more full of healthiness for nature. No need to decide, for this project walking toward the canal was chosen while I am waiting for my bread coming out from the oven nicely. But surely the most important and exciting time is taking my bread to cut and share some slices with whom I like :) I spread butter to add a little bit of salty sweetness which was fantastically delicious with the cranberries in the bread. Surely there couldn't be a better thing to take time for breakfast. The journey brought me Three things: Creativity, Emotional support, and taste :)
To be continued soon!
