Thorn stood hesitantly in front of the mansion. He’d come back because of the watermelon... And because he was still confused. He still didn’t understand, even after having all that time to think. After all that time, why was he still coming back to this place? He wasn’t a good person, he didn’t deserve a place like this.

‘Just admit it. You don’t want to be—‘

‘Shut up.’

He took in a breath, a little grateful that he was still invisible. He made his way to the door and... Opened it slowly and quietly. Hoping no one would be around to see the door seemingly open with no rhyme or reason.
