The way tv only shows fat people enjoying their lives when it’s a commercial for a weight loss drug. Showing them as the “after starting & still in progress” person. Showing us fat people can exist happily and can do things people dont want to see us do, or think we cant do. What if we showed that without implying its only because they lost weight.

Maybe your life isnt better because you’re losing weight. Maybe its better because you’re doing things you havent done since being made to believe your body is the problem.

It's really annoying when people say "this is obviously fat fetish art" under every art of a fat person. I have a fat fetish, I know what fat fetish art looks like and 9/10 what people call fat fetish art isn't it.

Fat people are not morally bad because they're fat.

Overeating isn't inherently evil.

Fat liberation needs to happen.

Fat people deserve full bodily autonomy and shouldn't be shamed for what they do with it.

I saw a comment somewhere on TikTok that said the reason why season 3 had so much makeup is because of fatphobia. And honestly it just makes so much sense why Penelope had so much makeup and even her nails done; the Bridgerton creators thought that no one would watch a romance show centered around a “fat” girl, unless she was glammed out.

I also think that’s why her and Collin got barely any screen time, and why the book cover was so heavily edited. They genuinely thought that the only way they could make a season was by glamming her out and barely including the main couple. It’s why the book cover and main poster are both so heavily edited to the point nobody likes them.

Obesity is not cute, healty or normal. It shouldn't be celebrated or encouraged. Lying to fat people saying they look beautiful and empowered are just pitiful lies.

Going to the gym, working out and caring for your body, as well not wanting to be fat, isn't "fatphobia", is just what normal beings do.

Fat liberation is a dangerous lie.
