Cannot do ssh to my ubuntu desktop from putty.
This can be a problem if you have fresh installation of ubuntu, and can be easily solved by installing openssh-server
sudo apt-get install openssh-server

Ubuntu error SSH - Connection reset by peer
Shit happens!!! Cant login via ssh, no matter if UFW is enable or not...
Try to
#sudo aptitude update #sudo aptitude reinstall openssh-server
it worked (at least for me)
