Amelia was born in a pack. She loved every member and they loved her. She was even brought up in the discussion to marry the son of the pack leader. While an arranged marriage seemed like an old outdated tradition, it was an honor in her pack.
The night before the full moon was the ceremony to announce the arrangement, the Fur Traders, a ruthless pack, came and slaughtered everyone. Amelia only survived because she had a rare condition called Situs Invertus, where all her major organs are in the mirrored position of where they are supposed to be. The silver arrow that was meant for her heart missed its target. She laid beneath the bodies of her pack and tried to play dead as the silver coursed through her body.
She made her way to Crossroads. She hid in allyways and behind dumpsters. She stole food off clotheslines and food out of trashcans. On full moons, she ran for a long as her wolf form would take her.
Eventually she made it to the city. Thanks to the generosity of a few inhabitants, Amelia was able to establish herself. She works part time at a book shop while attending school at Crossroads University.
While things are looking up for the young wolf, her burning hatred for the pack that killed her family is building. In her free time, she tries to find out more information on them in order to take them down. Sooner or later, she’s going to have to decide which is more important, school or revenge.
