Hello everyone, Vampire mod here! It’s been a long time, but I finally have internet hooked up at my new place! Hope you all have been doing well, I really missed you <3 <3

Is this still alive? Checked OOC, it has not hada post since Jan 27. Did you move the ooc and the url is wrong?

The RP is still alive, we’re a small RP and so when we all get busy it results in very little dash activity, we also happen to converse mostly through Skype so that also contributes to us not being around in there. We expect activity to pick up again soon but we’re in no real rush for it if that makes sense. At any rate, if you’re interested in applying you can fully expect that I’ll be fully active in that event. If the looseness and easygoingness of our activity expectations isn’t for you, that’s fair too, it’s not for everyone. At any rate, I’m in the ooc now if you want t chat, I’ll remain there for a bit. -Fae Mod

Hey, anonie again. That doesn't seem fair to not close people in crossroads and cuz they are your friends they get special treatment? When I apply to your rp will you deny me cuz Im not your friend and will you excuse it when im inactive?

No of course not! First of all, when you apply and if you’re accepted we would hope very much that you would become our friend too. Currently everyone in the rp is friends! Second of all we’ve kept in touch with all of our players, even if it isn’t marked down on the lists. We As admins we aren’t perfect, at least when it comes to updating the hiatus list but without exception we are supportive of our role-players and it would be very irregular for us to drop a character without first checking in with the person who played them if it we could. Provided we know what’s up we have no problem giving people awhile for a hiatus, life can be nuts you know? At any rate, I know that we’d be really stoked to add a new player to our roster. I’ve personally been in RP situations where I just couldn’t break in, everyone was already too close or not welcoming. We don’t want that here, we want to make people feel safe and welcome, like they’ve been there from day one. To sum things up, nobody’s getting special treatment because everyone is, including you should you choose to apply! -Faemod.

I want to apply but your a ton of charries look inactive. Do you have an activity system in place???? I saw 5 days but I never saw an actual check. I dont want to be in an rp that is inactive

We do. We have a close relationship with our members. There was a number of them with circumstances where prolonged hiatus was necessary. With the holidays and such, we did not do activity checks as a gift to our members.

We have an active plot and plenty of active members contributing to that plot. Feel free to apply and see what we have to offer! If you have any more questions, please ask.

Amelia Gold || Werewolf || 23 ||

Amelia was born in a pack. She loved every member and they loved her. She was even brought up in the discussion to marry the son of the pack leader. While an arranged marriage seemed like an old outdated tradition, it was an honor in her pack.

The night before the full moon was the ceremony to announce the arrangement, the Fur Traders, a ruthless pack, came and slaughtered everyone. Amelia only survived because she had a rare condition called Situs Invertus, where all her major organs are in the mirrored position of where they are supposed to be. The silver arrow that was meant for her heart missed its target. She laid beneath the bodies of her pack and tried to play dead as the silver coursed through her body.

She made her way to Crossroads. She hid in allyways and behind dumpsters. She stole food off clotheslines and food out of trashcans. On full moons, she ran for a long as her wolf form would take her.

Eventually she made it to the city. Thanks to the generosity of a few inhabitants, Amelia was able to establish herself. She works part time at a book shop while attending school at Crossroads University.

While things are looking up for the young wolf, her burning hatred for the pack that killed her family is building. In her free time, she tries to find out more information on them in order to take them down. Sooner or later, she’s going to have to decide which is more important, school or revenge.

Mthunzi was born in South Africa. Everything was going well for the young boy until he fell ill at age 6. His parents were poor and couldn’t afford the doctor in town so they took their son to see the witch doctor. He informed them that their son wasn’t ill. He had been chosen to be an Isangoma by the divine beings. Once the fever was over, Mthunzi’s parents let him regularly visit the witch doctor to learn the ways of being an Isangoma.

At age 21, Mthunzi stopped aging. No one quite understood why. Even his mentor was astonished. He had never seen a case like Mthunzi’s before. Medical professionals from all across the world came to see the weird case of the Bantu man who didn’t age. It became so troublesome that Mthunzi became a hermit, hiding away from the world and only seeing patients when there was no hope.

Eventually, the government set out to remove Mthunzi from the land his parents saved to buy. When he refused to leave, they tried to use force. The men crossed the property line and died instantly. Mthunzi didn’t know at the time but it was his fault. His power to heal also had a dark side. He was able to make people ill to the point of death and that terrified him.

Mthunzi fled South Africa and went to Crossroads, where he works as a healer. He tries his best not to allow the dark side of his powers out but sometimes there are creatures that tempt his will power.

Some would think Avaritio, also known as Tio, is a workaholic. This well-dressed man is one of the most important people in the soul trade. He might not have created it but he has streamlined the entire process. He created the algarythmn that can decifer if a soul has a greater purity than another. He also made it obsolete to need to meet in person to trade souls.

More and more people are more conserned with the acquisition of money than they are about giving to others. That is what fuels Tio and makes him who he is. Occasionally he will meddle in human affairs to boost his power. He’ll assist in business mergers, and other things of the like.

Then there’s love. It’s not something one could hold and possess. It can't be calculated or traded. It can’t be quanitified either. It’s the only thing Tio has ever been told he can’t have, which makes him want it even more. Can he ever see past his need for material possessions in order to find real love? What would happen to the balance of power if he did? What would happen to Carrie, the angel that is meant to keep him in check? Would it start to change who she is?
