"When a group of mean people in Power Armor and with heavy weapons ask you to join a matrix and fight in a war.... i guess you go"
Lone Wanderer, before going to Anchorage
"Ha ha! Cocky bastard, aren't ya? You planning on taking on the whole Red Army alone?" -Lieutenant Morgan (Fallout 3)
...Dark night, only bullets are whistling across the steppe, Only the wind is buzzing in the wires, stars are faintly flickering...
...The dark night separates us, my love And the troubled, black steppe lies between us...
Which Fallout DLC setting do you most want to live in?
Simulated Anchorage (Operation Anchorage)
The Pitt (Fallout 3)
Point Lookout
Mothership Zeta
Sierra Madre (Dead Money)
Zion Valley (Honest Hearts)
Big MT (Old World Blues)
The Divide (Lonesome Road)
The Island (Far Harbor)
Nuka World
The Pitt (Fallout 76: Expeditions)
Atlantic City (Fallout 76: Expeditions)
Like with the last poll, assume the state of the affairs when the player first arrives. Also I'm counting the expeditions as "DLC Locations" hense why The Pitt is here twice. Also also to make room for those two I had to cut Vault 88 and Adams Air Force Base so if you really like those tell me in the tags (but still vote for the next best thing!)
Pollout 3: The Wasteland Part 3: A New Destination
With her skills sorted and Black Widow chosen as her first perk, Magdalena takes a moment to gaze upon her new surroundings. Dad is out there somewhere but there are so many destinations laid out ahead of her and she has no idea of where to start. Well, aside from investigating the ruins of several destroyed houses just down the hill. She can do that while she thinks about what to do next.
While very carefully retrieving some grenades out of a postal box, several radio signals erupt from Maggie's pip-boy. She also somehow hears about a riverboat. They all seem interesting, but it might be better to explore her surroundings first... perhaps even checking what was behind the hill she emerged from would be more ideal. But she's not done poking around the immediate area just yet.
After finding a copy of Pugilism Illustrated and some drugs, Magdalena walks further down the road and sees a sign pointing her toward something called "Megaton". While intrigued, she also sees what looks to be a larger building down the street. Upon closer inspection, she sees that it's a school! Surely something interesting could be there... but she has so many options to choose from.
So... What should Magdalena do?
Check behind the vault
Inspect the Outcast Distress Signal (Operation Anchorage)
Inspect the Recon Craft Theta Beacon (Mothership Zeta)
Inspect Wernher's Distress Signal (The Pitt)
Investigate the riverboat (Point Lookout)
Check out Megaton
Check out Springvale Elementary School
This poll would normally be just one day long but I'm going to be busy during the holiday so... three day poll!

Sequel to This Post: How Far Are the Fallout DLC Maps from the Main Game?
I linked them to each game’s main metropolitan area, not the specific launching-off point for the DLC, sorry. Travel times are for the 21st century and don’t reflect resting, carrying equipment, or stopping to fight giant bugs every half-hour. They also don’t reflect that it’s the apocalypse and you can walk on a national highway if you feel like it.
Here’s The Pitt, which I haven’t played yet, sorry
This is Point Lookout, though it’s important to note that in-game you get there via the river and it takes a month? For some reason?
Anchorage is a simulation, Broken Steel uses the original game map, and Mothership Zeta is… in space.
We know next to nothing about the Sierra Madre and I can’t really approximate where it is. I couldn’t find the in-game travel time to get back to the Mojave.
Zion Valley, by foot but also by car since it gives you a weird walking route. In-game, it’s a two-week hike.
A rough approximation of the location of Big Mountain. It could be anywhere in Death Valley; all we know is that it’s south of the Divide. In-game, of course, you teleport there and back, so you likely won’t need this info.
The Divide. In-game, the journey is three hours.
The Island. In-game, you get there by boat, and as far as I can tell it takes about an hour.
We don’t know anything about Nuka-World’s real location except that it’s in Massachusetts. Assuming the train is running, you probably don’t need real travel times, but if you do, you can make something up.
Where you go, I will follow. Unless you go into the Project Liberty antechamber. I’m not going in there.
