NSW Operator with an M14. Operation Desert Storm 1991
Whatever happened to the Christian Goblin (the Goblin that was saved)? I enjoy the lil guy, homocidal tendencies and all
after the trial he left to spread the gospel across the land (easter island, memorial day island, boxing day island etc.); he later died in operation desert storm 2, an alternate history sequel to operation desert storm in which the united states returned to kuwait to liberate it from the people of kuwait
Do you guys think Peppino might have been a veteran in the Gulf War? Operation Desert Storm?
Assuming Peppino was born in 1972 like Maurice, he would have been 18 in 1990, fresh out of high school. There was no draft, so he would have had to have signed up for it voluntarily. I think the only reason he would have done so would be to get away from his family, especially Maurice. Peppino would legally be an adult at the time, but mentally, he'd still be a kid who has no idea what he's in for.
And then he gets a "baptism by fire" and ends up super-traumatized from it. Poor Peppino.
... I might use this idea for Pizza My Heart. I don't know. I'd have to do a lot of re-writing...

Too many lines being drawn, too many fingers on triggers - digital or real. People aren’t talking anymore… they’re yelling. And history says… when the world’s this loud, it’s usually before something crashes.
But war? Real war? I hope not. God, I hope not. It’s not like the nineties. This’d be… different. Bombs aren’t just metal anymore… they can shut down your lights, your bank, your fridge. Feels more like we’re already fighting… just haven’t admitted it.
