You know that thing where we do an OFMD group singalong of the Chain at a meetup or convention? We’re doing that but digitally!
Send in videos of groups singing along with The Chain as well as solo videos, audio clips, and snippets. We will accept short voice notes, partial audio tracks, video clips, anything you send us! Just put the Fleetwood Mac song (or our backing track) in your headphones & sing along like you’re at a convention (with enthusiasm!)

All instructions, lyrics, sheet music, and a reference track are in this Google drive folder, but the important instructions will be available in the read more below.
We have to mute any audio where we can hear the original Fleetwood Mac version, so we need a lot of enthusiastic vocals to replace it! Don’t worry about musicality too much, just have fun with it!
We also need to build a foundation track (we have a good start thanks to @honeysweethol and @chaoticmulaney on Twitter), so there are also some opportunities for featured instrumentals and vocals! To get a feel for what’s needed, check out our backing track here!
Sheet music for some basic vocal harmonies are in the folder as well, but don’t worry about sticking too closely to them unless you really want to.
We also need some fun filler videos, so if you have a video of a group vibing in cosplay or dancing at a meetup you can send that too! Let’s make something fun together!

We are collecting clips of as many of us as possible passing Ed’s silk! Be creative, but hang onto your cloth (we’ll need it again in October 🤫). Example video & details in the read more! Tag your post with #YouAirFineThingsWell to be included!
Details:
Deadline is October 1st!
—Video submissions should be short (~5 seconds)!
—Movement can be pass-the-brush style from any direction or something else!
—Showing your face is optional, but we want to see the red cloth & something that shows it’s a unique video (not one person 100 times)
—The Red cloth represents Ed’s red silk, but can be any material & any size! We recommend coaster size (4-8” or 10-20 cm) up to pocket square size (10-17” or 25-40 cm)
—Video can be filmed in any orientation, but landscape is preferred!
—Don’t lose your cloth! We’ll need it again in October!
