Almost the start of the season!!
You wouldn’t think it with the weather and lack of golf and subsequent posts but the season opener is almost upon us!
How is this related to operation single figures? Honestly, I have been in second gear since the turn of the year. Not anywhere near as much golf, practice or even lessons as I would have liked. This is 100% down the the bad weather (the beast from the east! Which is back again this weekend...) resulting in course closures and the range unuseable.
In order to get in to 3rd gear I am joining an artisan club within my golf club which will motivate me to play in all the additional competitions they put on. The extra cost out me off in the past, but I will definately benefit from the extra playing time and crucially, better tee times.
To get in to 4th gear I will book a couple of lessons for end of April, start of May which will give me more things to work on and improve my game then all thats left for 5th gear is practice after work every day, even 30 mons on the putting green and play as much as possible at the weekends!
Hopefully by the next entry I can have some scores to post!!!
