mama’s boy
i love this a lot, actually. It was one of those incidental shots that was sort of just the result of me screwing around in captura and it’s really just legit well composed and great. I don’t really remember taking it, but gosh. Damn!

At the far end of the lake, the water flows on, into a narrow gorge. Swelled with late autumn rains, rills and rivlets over tumbled stones, falling down the decline in elevation onward towards the sea. It’s here that the peculiar trio makes their crossing, splashing through the shallows, and onwards towards Cetus and sanctuary.
The clamour on the far shore is no longer distant, an abstract concern, but a real and present threat. And now it’s no longer the clamour, but the fall of a eerie quite that’s unnerving. The ghouls, newly risen but deprived of the prey that had driven them into their initial frenzy, have gone shambling aimlessly off into all directions. Some have rambled off into the woods clustering up the slopes of the nearby foothills, others wander along the water’s edge, growling and moaning and calling to each other in guttural, destroyed voices. Some have even retreated back to their burial ground, wandering amidst the mounds of newly turned earth, to desecrate the fresh corpses of their fallen fellows. The Operator’s trust isn’t enough to keep Umbra’s blade from the General’s throat. The Operator trusts the Quills, after all, and Umbra has been led to understand that the foremost of these is a man who faked his death in order to serve a shadowy secret order of monastic seers, right beneath the noses of his wife and best friend. He trusted the Lotus, and even months later, he’s still reeling from that staggering betrayal.
The Operator is not the system’s best barometer of trustworthiness.
So Umbra stands, and stands aside, but not before stretching his blade in Cressa Tal’s direction and beckoning her closer, so that he need move no farther from the boy on the ground. To her credit, she steps forward and even loosens the cowl she wears, bares her throat almost proudly. She doesn’t flinch when the tip of Skiajati extends towards her, perfectly poised and rock steady in Umbra’s hand. It’s plain to see that her medic is distressed by this turn of events, but at a gesture from his commander he still lumbers forward, carrying his medkit, eyeing the warframe for only a few nervous moments before he takes a knee on the ground at the Operator’s side.

I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!
if you all thought i was bad before it was NOTHING compared to how bad i’ll be now that i have a new graphics card at my disposal.
I have had The Flu, so here is a slapdash collection of mostly experimental stuff, courtesy of the 10000 remote observers I bought on accident + some new captura scenes + I am finally doing some shit in Fortuna.
