Suicidal Photo Time
“Ily has gone into the hallway! GRAB HER QUICK DADDY” Ophelia screamed into the makeshift communicator. The dirtied blur of a mage rounded quickly around the corner within Erudition trying to avoid the trisky priestess. Why did she have to give a locator to her communicator for her child as well?
She didn’t think her daughter would use it in these circumstances.
Ilyea slid her dirty self against the floor runes of Erudition scrapping her dress against the ruined stones like some cornered rat. The mage couldn’t believe that’d resort to *that*
Anything but *that*
“Can’t we talk about it….I mean I was joking! I won’t do anything bad for three weeks I swear! I won’t even make fun of Demy’s dress please please don’t!” Ilyea begged into the air.
Aurora stepped out just in time with the joke reaching forward to grab the filthy mage by the scruff of her robes. With the help of Lledwyn, Demy and some of poor ol Penny; they had managed to grab the feral born mage enough to gussy her up. The runes sparkling against the protective wards to guide the woman in a carefully put path.
Who knew implying about good pictures would cause so much distress?
Ophie bounded up with the sparkling dust that Lledwyn had gotten her for this occasion. Batalisk dust merged with dagger spine. It’d daze the mage enough for a photo and maybe make her docile enough for a few hours, but Titans help the whole party once she woke up. “You’ll look really nice Mommy, I promise.” Ophie chirped as the child threw the bright luminous dust all over the bewildered mage. The effect was strong and immediate as the Ilyea seemed to grow docile after a few inhales of the mood altering powder. Aurora coughed a bit into his palm shaking the dust free from his black hair, the enchantment coloring it somewhat.
“Ophie dear, we don’t have much time. Take your Mommy to the tub…”
“Yes Daddy.” The child chirped and with the others nearby they set upon the task of cleansing the mage fully. They didn’t have much time.
It didn’t take long for the picture to be taken and catalogued for the small family. It was a surprise what they found that could clean the mage into a pristine sort of quality. Pictures sent to Demy, Lledwyn and others of the rare moment of solitude.
Perhaps a month without bathing was too much time.
