[Character Description]
Also known as the mysterious "Sky Trader," Kiki is a young juvenile Harpy who trades random washed up objects to rare materials for food, trinkets and other objects of interest.
She can be found during most of the day, usually early morning, late afternoon or just before dusk, in certain parts of Orbtopia. Please be mindful of what you trade, she can and will refuse if you have nothing that interests her.
No one knows who or what she is, it is speculated that she crash landed on the shores of the island months before the Voyager (you) did. Kiki escaped before Sigmund could repair and examine her.
Only the rumors of a Sky Trader and a pesky thief described the local's views on her. Nothing else.
[Companion Info]
First encounter: [Find Sky Trader] Side-quest
> Instructed by the main merchant of the game when they don't have the materials the player needs.
After finding and successfully trading with Kiki, player can "partially" unlock her as a playable companion.
Character storyline: [Birds of a Feather] Quest
> Keep trading to maintain bond
> Allow her on your ship whenever you travel
> Buffs get activated during exploration (material location, increased chances of rare goods, threat and weather alert)
> Her lore is closely related to Oit/Voyager/Waylon's memory loss, especially with the Talons. Once she finds the truth and regains her own memories, a boss fight gets triggered with KIKI as the BOSS. She will desecrate any nearby Navy settlement if the player doesn't stop her. (Like Mermaid Morian)
> After her boss fight, another side quest appears: [A Broken Wing] in which, as the name suggests, the player rushes a detransformed and unconscious Kiki back to Sigmund, repairs most of the damage but waits for her to wake up in order to fix her broken wing. It seemed to be broken even before the boss fight happened.
You finish the side-quest by reassuring her and giving her back the bone necklace, once you fix her wing—BOOM cut scene—and now Kiki joins your crew at her own terms.
Congrats! You have now fully unlocked her skills as a companion.
[Boss Fight Info]
Triggered during [Birds of a Feather] Quest. Kiki becomes enraged when she regains her memories, recalling what the Navy did to her tribe. Entering a berserk state, she grows into a full monstrous Harpy.
Once you defeat her, a flashback cut scene shows before it says [Quest Complete] and Kiki drops a bone necklace. Keep it. (See companion info)
Note: these may be subject to change (again) since the lore of sor is still hazy. But y'all get the gist hehe. I'll post part 2 of her info soon. For now, I give you traumatized parentless bird kid for ADOPTION!
