NEWSFLASH Whereabouts of MOD

Radio Unity has just received this message from General MacDonald of the OPHUG militia: The OPHUG militia have procured the MoD. We are awaiting updates on the situation. This government does not represent what the nation of Brynania stands for, they must be brought down. Foldy and De Santi are munipulative individuals who must not be trusted. 

Fellow Brynanians, these are trying times. OPHUG and the Government of Brynania have never been on opposite sides of the conflict. We ask you to be patient until we figure out the truth and the best side to stand in solidarity with.

NEWSFLASH President Foldy Returns!

We've just received this important message from the now reinstated President of Brynania:

  Over the past few days, I have enjoyed my time with my family and volunteer coaching the soccer teams of my children. The stresses of the past seemed gone- the war, the famine, the blockades. I learned in this time that this is the kind of feeling that should be possible for all Brynanians- Icasian, Brn, and Zaharian alike. 

  If peace building literature has taught us anything, it's that democracy isn't only about institutions or voting. It's about cultivating, listening, and respecting the voice of the people. Over the past few days, I've listened to the voices of the people and feel that it is my duty to best serve the people of Brynania by returning to the peace process. I am proud of Brynania and all of the actors in the peace process, who did not let terrorists derail the progress we've already made. 

  So effective immediately, I am accepting the offer of the Vice President to return to power temporarily. I will continue to serve as long as Brynania will have me. VP De Santi, herself a decorated military officer, will retain the Defense portfolio in the cabinet. 

  The atrocities in Camps 7 and 9 will be investigated thoroughly and those responsible will be held accountable for their actions. Before my resignation, I opened the camps entirely to the international community and I have been told that significant commitments of aid are being provided by the international community to improve the conditions for the populations in the camp. 

  I call specifically on OPHUG to immediately cease their less than constructive activities in Aiku. I appreciate their support for me, and now implore them to support me as well in doing what is necessary for peace. There can be no peace without law and order. 

  Finally, a promise. WHEN Brynania achieves a transitional government, with fair and equitable elections, I will not stand for election. I am ready to leave my past behind, and look forward to a time when all Brynanians of all ethnicities are able to do the same. I am confident that with the steps already taken, that time is not far off.

Here We Go Again

We don't understand. We just don't understand. The Government of Brynania is a government, that like any other, just wants the best for its people. The Eastern Icasian Freedom Movement is nothing but another petulant child wanting a little bit of attention. This isn't a legitimate movement. Act like adults here. If you're unhappy in a country where the President hasn't stolen half its GDP and diamond resources, then go back to Icasia if you want to. Don't take part of our land and say its yours. This isn't a cookie you can split up. This is a country, and regardless of what you say or do, Brynania will remain strong, whole, and in a war against the EIFM, the ZPF, and any other deranged faction that wants to further chop it up.

The hilarious part is that they "invite Radio Unity and disenchanted Brynanian factions to unite with our glorious cause and help us prevent the occurrence of such terrorism ever again." You know, because, their bombing of Aiku in which they killed dozens of people and destroyed tens of thousands of dollars of infrastructure could not be considered terrorism at all.

Safe to say we reject your invitation.

Really? Where are these delusional leaders coming from? What has been in the water that they're just popping up everywhere?

Also, WRITING HALF YOUR PRESS STATEMENTS IN CAPITAL LETTERS, bolding everything you think is important, or adding a thousand exclamation points makes it seem like you are nuts not powerful!!!!!!!!
