Fellow Brynanians, We would first like to take a moment of silence for all those soldiers who lost their souls in the battle for our country in Diku. We will never forget their sacrifice for our country, just like we will never forget all of the members of the AFB who have fought so valiantly for Brynania and its unity. That's why we are shocked that not only have their been proposed talks of sending foreign troops, foreign peacekeepers in Brynania, but the fact that Ruritanian troops have now been sent and stationed in our sovereign land is just an abomination. Radio Unity will admit that our troop, our infantry has been weakened due to recent events, but we are not certain that inviting the supremacy-driven Ruritanians into our land is the right answer. How are we to know that they are going to leave once they've taken care of what they've dubbed "criminal and terrorist elements." If history is any indicator, then we are nothing short of Lebanon, asking the Syrians to help us out for a little while. Thirty years later, they were still there. We thought we were made of more spunk, more guts. We don't even know how the ZPF had managed military superiority over an armed government army. There is a lot of false information and misleading measures taking place. There's talk of peace everywhere from negotiations to ceasefires to SRSGs, but we're not seeing it; we're not feeling it; we can't reach out and grab it.

NEWSFLASH Retaliation

We have just received word from the government regarding the latest terrorist attacks: "Forces have been deployed. The situation is under control and the terrorists are being dealt with." Pray for the AFB, fellow Brynanians. Pray that they end the ZPF once and for all or at least bring them to justice so they can face the families of the people they've mercilessly murdered.

Told You So

Brynanians, Yet again, our attempt at peace has been thwarted at the hands of ZPF terrorist lowlifes. These people were part of the peaceful negotiating strategies? We warned you, President Foldy. We told you to take meaningful action against them, even to destroy them, but behold his response to us in an email a couple of months ago: "The serious sticking point would be the ZPF. I am unable to pursue military options against them at this time without scuttling a large element of the peace talks. I can assure you that they are NO military, or even political, threat after the defeat we dealt them the other day." President Foldy, it is quite apparent that military option is now on the table, especially considering our causalities in this attack are very heavy. Respond. You need to kill the dragon, not just cut his head off because it's going to grow two more. Brynanians, rise up and tell your government what you want to see. Violence isn't the answer, but in the pursuit of a non-violent and stable future, all factions that undermine this have to be destroyed.

An End in Site

Good afternoon fellow Brynanians, It finally seems like for the first time we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Almost all parties that are capable of disrupting peace are at the negotiating table and attempting to work on a future for this great country. Sources confirm that we might have a peace agreement that covers all parties and the whole of Brynania by the end of the month. The amount of progress - considering the numerous disruptions in between - that we have made is incredible. We all united in the People's Choice, People's Voice vigil and showed to the world that in the end it is Brynanians that hold power in their hands, not the governments, factions, or terrorists. However, Radio Unity still finds some concerns in a peace treaty that is looking very one-sided. There have been all these demands made on part of the PFLZ concerning public apologies and Zaharian representation, but let' s not forget that it is not only the government that needs to apologize. We still have not heard formal apologies from the ZPF or the EIFM for all the pain and terror that they've caused. If we are all to start a new, it's not only Brns who have to concede. You want an equal footing, give all of us a true equal footing. Brns and Zaharians haven't always lived peacefully side by side, and they won't be able to do so until both sides acknowledge their wrongs. Ever the voice of the people.

Rebirth, Renewal, and Purging

It seems like mother nature has been hurt by the past 6 months in Brynania. She's crying on the inside, and that manifests as flood season on the outside. The floods that we have experienced have been the worst in Brynania's history. It isn't only our people that suffer, but our animals, infrastructure, and economy. This honestly couldn't have come at worse time, but this only strengthens our resolve, fellow Brynanians, to push through these tough times and prove not only to ourselves, but to the entire world what Brynanians are made of.

We have honestly suffered a hundred times more than any of our neighbors in Equatorial Cyberspace, but we remain strong, standing, spirited.

As many of you already know, for the first time in our nation's history, the OPHUG militia hasn't stood behind the Brynanian government. We now have a division in what was once a strong fortress.

On which side do we stand? Both sides have committed wrongs and both sides have given us a lot to be thankful for, but in all honesty, the advancements we have made, mostly thanks to our cabinet and president' negotiations are not to be ignored, neither are the atrocities in Camps 7 and 9 that Brobbey knew about.

It has come to our attention that Brobbey and the OPHUG militia have reached out to the FPA, a faction that although previously spoke of a true cause, has considered Brynanian citizens to be collateral damage in their pursuit of power. Let's not forget the bombings on innocent people in Hamraville as well as their relations with the traitorous ZPF.

President Foldy has also "been seeking to avoid direct confrontation with OPHUG. But they'd need to immediately take down their counter-productive roadblocks and turn over Brobbey." He would be willing to grant immunity to General MacDonald.

Radio Unity has previously been the voice of action and initiative, and we still are. We urge you, fellow Brynanians, to look at the facts and deep into your hearts and see which side of the conflict wants a better Brynania for us all.

Let us unite against those fickle individuals who wish for nothing but to usurp power out every avenue, those individuals who are okay with murdering children, those individuals who, if given the chance, would sell their soul to the devil for control and authority. Let's take this flooding as a sign of rebirth, renewal, and a purging of tainted creatures.

NEWSFLASH FPA Working with ZPF

We have just received the following information from the Government of Brynania: We have considerable evidence amassed indicating that the FPA, in their craven and ruthless war to keep control of their diamond slavery operation, have supported both the ZPF and are behind the bus bombings in Hamraville. They have combined forces to make a sort of "Axis of Spoilers", who undermine the hopes and dreams of all Brynanians- Brn and Zahar alike. It seems that there aren't any more honest and righteous souls here to fight for Brynania in a dignified manner.

Where Do We Go From Here?

Good afternoon fellow Brynanians, Radio Unity has been uncharacteristically silent these past 10 days or so. However, rest assured dear listeners that it isn't to keep you in the dark but rather to gather and research as much information as possible in order to present the absolute, untainted truth - and in a country, or rather region, that has undergone so much bloodshed, lies, and mutiny to say the least, the untainted truth is something that is quite difficult to find. Around five months ago, our government (always looking out for the interest of its people) began negotiations with terrorist factions in order to procure peace in our region. Radio Unity was initially very hesitant about these talks, especially since they were with people who had targeted Brn civilians and the Brynanian society as a whole. Yet, to this very day, there are still attacks on borders. There are still cars exploding. We have new factions coming up and claiming independence and a rightful land among other things. It seems to us here at Radio Unity, that maybe it's time to take a stronger hand. Peace does work, but when everyone is equally committed to it. We cannot idly sit and watch more and more of our country break apart while these talks refuse to breakdown, not at this cost, not when the stakes are this high. Maybe if we had acted with stronger military zeal in the past, others would have gotten the message. President Foldy, you cannot continue to preach peace if no one is willing to listen. As for former Minister of Defense Brobbey, you honestly cannot sink any lower. If you're looking for someone to blame over Camps 7 and 9, look no further. We all saw the WNS special. Brobbey was the one who barred access, and although, yes, Foldy should have acted sooner and known better, let us now use him as a scapegoat. Brobbey, it is absolutely pathetic seeing you use OPHUG as a shield, and we only hope that General MacDonald will see you for the deceiving snake that you really are. General MacDonald, if he's lied to the whole Brynanian government, he won't hesitate to lie to you. We only pray that you see his true colors before it's too late for you and the beloved militia that has served our country so vehemently in the past. We will always carry on reporting the news as the voice of the Brynanian people.
