I might be weong in assuming this anon is referring to skin picking as a long lasting urge and compulsion, but if so, the compulsive picking of skin or scabs is called dermotillomania and it is a bfrb and actually quite common, just very poorly known. (&if the anon/anyone actually has questions ab it or wants to talk to someone w dermotillomania hit me up)
