My most hated character is Ringo Roadagain, I almost irrationally hate him. I think the stupid skull goatee pushed me over the edge, coupled with him being really morose and annoying.
I used to list Baby Face as my most hated stand but iirc that arc was done pretty well in the anime, I still hate the briefcase part but the secondary stand stuff after that redeems it maybe. Also Bohemian Rhapsody, imo the 'edgy fairytale' genre is done way too often and it makes me cringe even when Araki does it.
Who is your least favorite baddie (besides Dimentio)?
It's always hard for me to think about baddie's I particularly dislike, especially when it comes to major ones because a lot of em usually have something I at least enjoy (Heck I even like Dimentio's design, I just don't like the character), but if I had to think of another one I don't like all that much I'd probably say Galacta Knight, I don't even really hate him but I think he is used a little too much and especially in a game like Super Kirby Clash where they bring back someone like Nightmare (even if it is a Parallel version) and then push him aside for GK at the end, it just kinda rubs the wrong way.
If you're caught up to them all yet, if you had to rank the Young 6 from best to worst, how would you rank them?
I still haven’t really gotten around to watching most of their scenes from S8 but I guess if I had to choose through them (like based on design aesthetics/overall personality) then...
Ocellus (she seems cute and her backstory as a potential past-protege/heir to Chrysalis looks interesting)
Smolder (from the few bits I’ve scene of her the brother/sister-like dynamic she has with Spike seems cool. Snarky tomboy types tend to be pretty fun in general, ex. Toph and Buttercup)
Yona (like Ocellus she seems cute and innocent enough, and I’ve seen a couple bits of her recent crush with Sandbar that seems sweet)
Sandbar (kinda similar to what I said above, him being near Yona makes him a little more interesting to me somehow)
Gallus (nice to have a male Griffon on the show, but he doesn’t really stand out to me much right now aside from that)
Silverstream (ehhh, she seems alright but overall I just don’t really like how she just acts as Princess Skystar’s fill-in/clone for the show. If she were a bit more unique in personality I’d probably warm up to her more but for now she’s definitely my least favorite of the Young 6)
Hellow!!! I'm sorry I didn't do the top ten female character, but I'm not really comfortable doing original post 😅, so I apologize, and I wanted to ask you if you heared the news of this coming season and what was your opinion and your feelings on it? :) love you fics!!! 😊😘
HI! Sorry it took me awhile to answer!! And it’s totally okay I understand xD I usually don’t tag people since I don’t wanna put people on the spot either, But you are in my notifications a lot I’m like, well i KNOW THEM RIGHT? IT COUNTS? xD
And yes!!! the second I got this I had actually gone out with a friend and we were talking about the news! I will be tagging this as a spoiler if I can! In case other people haven’t heard about it. I had to put a read more cause I couldn't figure out how to tag at first lol
As for Shiro’s ex-boyfriend and all that, I’m firmly in the let people ship what they want. I’ve seen a lot of stop bashing it or like, completely in love with it. If you like it, it’s for you. Personally, not my type of Ship but I respect it as a part of Shiro’s life that helped him grow into who he was today. Relationships do that to people. I absolutely love the take VLD did on it too. In my heart I’m always a Sheith shipper first lol
Second! JESUS I’m ready to get my heart absolutely crushed tbh. I won’t be able to watch till later on friday but hopefully I can suffer peacefully.
why is there demand for an all female Lord of the Flies reboot-??
the same themes would still be present, and there’s plenty of other books and movies that are the same thing such a reboot would be. we know women are capable of violence and evil when in an environment where moral code isn’t strictly imposed. it was all boys, yes, but the moral can be applied as a reflection of all mankind. you don’t need a whole other media for what you already know.
and if you really want to make something with a similar theme only applying to women, make it a new story rather than just overwriting an old one. more effective that way.
Okay, kind of based on the recent ask of worst morals from MLP episode, what about the reverse? As in...what were some good morals that you found in the show? Kind of curious.
For most of my personal favorite episodes, I usually tend to enjoy alot of the morals they bring (again, among other things lol). If I had to pick certain episodes that had the best morals imo… hmm:
A Dog and Pony Show: Femininity isn’t a weakness, and anyone is capable of being strong and resourceful in their own way regardless of how they dress/act.
Green Isn’t Your Color: When your friend starts showing success in something you’re passionate about, don’t let it bother you too much and try to be as encouraging/supportive for them as you can be… However, it’s also important to not bottle up your feelings and be honest to your friend if you’re not feeling up to the task anymore.
The Last Roundup: Don’t feel afraid to open up to your friends if you’re in a tight spot, and it’s okay to not always win at everything as long as you tried your best and you’re safe & sound.
Rarity Takes Manehatten: While there’ll always be injustice and greedy people in the world, it’s important to not lose one’s focus in being a generous and good-hearted person at the core.
Maud Pie: Don’t force people to get along if they don’t have anything in common, let friendship come naturally on it’s own accord.
Twilight’s Kingdom: You’ll always have a greater purpose in this world, so don’t lose hope if you feel like your current aspiration isn’t amounting to much at the moment.
Canterlot Boutique: Don’t lose faith in your creativity in order to cater to popular demand, put your foot down when someone’s overstepping their boundaries (even if in their eyes they’re “just trying to help”), and one should be able to shine beautifully in their own unique way instead of just blindly going along with whatever’s the “mainstream” trend.
Frankly I think the best MLP morals are the simple ones. Some of the best episodes have morals such “be true to yourself”, “love your parents/sister”, “we can still get along despite our different opinions”, etc... meanwhile stuff like “we shouldn’t have tried to make Equestria feel like home” (Party Pooped) and “Don’t hide your pent up anger- just rage towards me all you want! It won’t affect our friendship” (All Bottled Up) are just overly specific and convoluted.
True, sometimes morals can be at their best if they’re not made overly complicated/specific like that. “Less is more” can be a blessing, you know?
