coming back to wmmap tiktok it surprised me to see the hate on novel!athy. i personally think her loud cynicism and selfishness was moreso entertaining than something that can make you root for her less. it's played up so over-the-top and comedic that you can't even consider her an unreliable narrator because it's obvious to the reader that after the first mana explosion incident the idea of athy reaching the lp ending is out the window. in stark contrast, i was personally not a fan of timeskip manhwa!athy's shift in personality and how she lost all that snark that made for some of the funniest monologues i've read in a while. oh the insults chapters 1-20 athy would've come up with for anastacius...
