Draught of Spring features a serene, pale figure laying atop the snow, nearly clutching a bottle of untouched plant life. As with all of my artwork, I leave the viewer to decide what to take from this. I personally receive it as a sense of waiting to a possibly strange longing for the inevitable shift of the seasons, with the depicted figure being the personification of Winter itself.
