@opportuniistic liked for a starter
“I wouldn’t be so confident if I were you,” she said, annoyance evident in her tone. “We’ve hardly determined which way we ought to be going!”

From her opened window, the woman watched as the final streaks of daylight slipped into the horizon. However, her thoughts were far from inky rooftops and barren streets.
Tonight’s contract was unlike the others. The woman (Vivienne; her alias for the evening) worked alone, completing her contracts without the aid of another, but her employer had a different idea in mind for the murder of one Elias Krauss.
Moreau proposed the aid of Hans Landa, a former Nazi colonel during the war. At first, Scarlet tried to argue, claiming she could complete the job by her own means, but her employer would not hear it. Landa’s knowledge and expertise would make the kill easier, cleaner, and would avoid any unnecessary suspicion. The woman had no choice but to oblige.
‘Vivienne’ was a patient woman, but with her patience came precision and efficiency. Her so-called ‘partner’ was told to arrive at her hotel room promptly at six o’clock and she would not appreciate tardiness. A glance was spared to the ticking clock by her bedside. Five minutes to six.
Her heels clicked across the wooden floor as she made her way to the bathroom’s mirror, checking over her make-up one last time before Landa’s arrival.
