The Chaotix have potential, but unfortunately the comics have yet to really DO anything with them. Knuckles rarely interacts with them unless it’s an emergency, and their friendship is barely developed at all, in spite of the multiple “Knuckles learns the power of friendship” stories they’ve been in. And of course, the laser focus on the guardians means that it’s incredibly rare to see any good guy outside of Knuckles’s family do anything particularly important in these stories

How far have you gotten into The Adventure Zone? I started listening around the same time you first posted about it, but I happened to be doing a lot of semi-tedious podcast-friendly work at the time so I wound up blitzing through all of it in a week or two. There's a moment near the end of the Crystal Kingdom arc that is easily the funniest thing I've heard in months.
